My husband uses his laptop in his recliner and it's difficult for him to see the keyboard. He's not a touch-typist, so he needs to see the keys. This works great. It connects to a USB port on the laptop, so you don't have a trailing cord. The light can be adjusted to different brightness. This laptop light is a definite win!

What more can I say about this amazing light, it has three adjustable light settings and dimmable from low to high. And you also have lights on the back of the bar with its separate settings, it actually lights up the room. Such a deal. There is an automatic shut off, if there is no activity. The price is gr8 and it's functionality is spot on for dependability. I've been running it constantly before the return date. So far it's good and you'll love it. It truly brightens up my keyboard. Enjoy! Nov 29, 2023 I had a good run with this device, unfortunately it stopped working on the above date and I purchased it July 2023. I decided to purchase the Quntis light bar. Let's see how this operates. This light bar is a game changer. It truly lights up the keyboard and working area. Quntis was delivered on the same day. Without it my area was too dark. O wasnt willing to wait a few days to receive it. Eventhough the light bar is geared for larger monitors. I was able to size it on my laptop using one of two adjustment covers. This light is a better fit then the other one. There was a $8.00 discount on this light bar as well. Look for Quntis LED Monitor Light for PC. ENJOY!

If you're having trouble seeing when using your laptop at night, you need this! Don't bother with those adjustable arm things that you can bend over your keyboard. They're not bright enough and they don't cover the whole keyboard. THIS DOES! Super easy to install/assemble, and the clip even has a cutout for your built-in web cam. There's a slight learning curve to figure out the function, but no worries, just mess with it a bit and you'll figure it out. Provides great light on the keyboard without being excessive and it looks sleek. Not sure there's much they could do to improve on this product. I am happy and sold!

This light bar is actually more feature-rich than I need (it can provide cool or warm lighting, there is a back light capability for ambient lighting, etc.), but it’s been perfect! In theory my laptop has a backlit keyboard, but only a few letters show through. Since I use my laptop sitting next to Hubby while he watches TV in a darkened room, I really needed some lighting. I’m able to angle the light to my keyboard, and dim it enough so it doesn’t bother him. It clips onto the top of the laptop beautifully, without blocking any part of the monitor and without shining any light on the display. It really is perfect!

I like this led light. However, the part hold the led was lean to the right and slowly slip out. It's also not tight enough to keep the led in position.
