  • Good value for the price
Size: Black 18" Wide Seat
The wheel chair isn't bad for the price, and the only negative I can see is that the arms are too high to fit under a table or desk. Easy to get out of, though, because of the high arms.

  • Seat has plastic joints to facilitate folding up the chair, they break. Easily. I'd avoid.
Size: Red 18" Wide Seat
I got this in the mail, today. weighed myself, 258 lbs. Gently used the chair for a test run, and it broke. See the image. These are little guides that both bear weight because your bum and body push on them laterally, but what they do, Is guide the x patterned supports under the chair so you can fold it, up so everything stays in place when you go to put it back down. Called amazon, they replaced the chair, but really, this isn't actually a fluke, check the 1 stars, common point of failure. This part SHOULD BE METAL and is going to fail on basically every chair is not immediately due to being mis-aligned, rather soon if not because plastic load bears like glass. Meaning, it doesn't. It reaches a limit and any torque applied after fatigue, and it shears. It's the material. Now, there are tough plastics, like the stuff used in cars, usually with embedded metal or supports, but these little bits aren't. So, what I'm going to do is get my new chair, completely disassemble it for parts and keep those somewhere and fix this one's flaws. I've got a few items I'm going to use in place of the plastic pieces that should still guide as the plastic pieces did, but not break because of a stiff wind. Again, these should be metal, they're structural. 120 bucks of unusable metal is worse than 200 bucks of usable metal. It's not good value if it lets you down when you need it. I only have occasional gout flares, so I won't be using this often, but dear god I need it when I do. Thankfully, I'm pretty handy, so I likely can overcome this thing's problems. But seriously, buyer beware. I'd definitely get a different chair. Unless you want a project chair, for, some reason. I mean, to each their own. I don't know how the tuner scene is with wheelchair owners. ... show more

  • The paint
The paint goes of. This pic is on the second day of use. It’s not a long lasting wheelchair, but a short trip and the price worth it.
