I’ve been looking for a 7 step aluminum ladder for a while and I couldn’t find it at any of the local home improvement stores like Home Depot, for some reason none of the stores carry any 7 ft aluminum ladders, they have only fiberglass which if it is expose to the sun will brake really easy but Amazon does, I know description says 6 ft ladder but if you search for a 6 ft ladder you will find ladders with 5 steps plus the top one, but this one has 6 and plus the one on the top! Had top of line step ladder but only had 5 steps and was fiberglass and heavy. This ladder has 6 steps much easier to get up and down and being aluminum is lighter and has a heaverier load capacity that other.cost a little more but worth it.at 80.years old don't need to fall trying to get down 5 step ladder. The 6 step ladder is night and day easier to use than five step ladder.you will be delighted if you get one,I was. ... show more

This ladder is light and easy to carry around, but it doesn’t extend and isn’t a but for access to the roof, maybe other household goals, but not largely high areas (garage overhead light, etc). The biggest thing is that it’s expensive. It works for what it works for. Nothing more.
