This Monopod was better than expected. The actual monopod is made from very sturdy material and is very easy to use. The legs that support it lock in place so you do not have to worry about your camera crashing down - and you can adjust the tilt of the monopod using the red screw on the leg attachment. I wish the legs provided greater stability, especially on slightly uneven surfaces. It adjusts to any height you could ever need. I have used it as a monopod on hiking adventures. You can attach a GoPro and use it as an extended selfie stick. It's not nearly as light as a Black Diamond trekking pole, but you can remove the legs and replace them with a hiking pole tip that is included and this will reduce weight.     • Great for Monopod for the money!
I bought this as I often shoot video with a camera on a regular tripod and I wanted something light weight and easy to move around. So as I am filming with one camera I use this one to move around the shoot a lot for different views of the same action! This monopod allows me to move about easily without dragging a heavy and cumbersome tripod around and knocking into things on a small set but still affords me the ability to get a steady shot. I really like this monopod and see others complaining that it is not sturdy which I did not understand as it is not a regular tripod and I would not expect to put a camera on it and leave it sit by itself. Firstly, the photos and everyone using it has the small point at the bottom while the large point is what your device is sitting on; for me, I simply swapped the folding feet and the nut for devices so the thicker part is on the bottom while the thinner poles are on top. It makes for much better balance if you’re trying to walk away from this thing using a lightweight device such as a gimble or smartphone. The quality is so so so good! You can feel it when you hold it. It doesn’t feel like anything cheap or knock off. It’s heavy in a sense but only in a good way, not heavy in weight but , in a sturdy type of way. It’s definitely a fantastic selfie stick, the included tri-folding feet are engineered very well, and overall yes, get this monopod if you’re looking for a jack of all trades extension pole. ... show more

    • impressive monopod for a very cheap price
The media could not be loaded. I wanted to have a spare monopod for the times when I need a second shooter when filming weddings. I didn't want anything too expensive because it won't be used much. i just needed something that was compact, light, and has the ability to attach a fluid head, and this monopod pretty much checked all of those boxes. I don't fear that it will break, but it is a little wobbly even when the feet are extended, and the red collar is locked. I have a more expensive monopod and it does the same thing but not quite as much. I was still able to achieve relatively smooth pans and tilts while using my fluid head. I also like that the feet can detach and be used as a low angle tripod too. This is a pretty light weight monopod, so i used it with my sony a6400 and canon m50 and was very satisfied with it. I even threw my canon xf400 on there and with IS turned on, the footage was very smooth. ... show more

I purchased the Moman monopod tripod for tripod base. At the time of purchase I already owned several tripods and two monopods with a rubber foot. I had been wanting a monopod with a tripod base and the Moman showed in my recommended and I pulled the trigger. I really like this monopod. The ease of use, lightweight and sturdiness make this my immediate grab anytime I go shoot video. I shoot sporting events a lot so I move around during events. Moving around a full tripod is cumbersome and the single footed monopod is fine, but this Moman unit provides the best of both worlds. The tripod base helps so much when using on uneven terrain. As an added bonus it includes a rubber foot if you choose to not use the tripod base. This monopod has been versatile enough for me that for most shoots I dont even carry my other tri or monopods. I do plan to purchase the Moman tripod fluid drag pan head to add to mine. I would recommend this unit to those who want an easy monopod to use and carry. ... show more

I am a growing photographer and I don't have the money to buy the most expensive products. This monopod with stand is a great item for a great price. It's fast secure and very sturdy. I also very much enjoy you can customize between a camera mount, a mount for a flexible head mount, and even a mic stick. ( Microphone parts are not included.) I am very pleased with this item and I also very much enjoy the blue color on mine! I very strongly recommend it! just make sure you have some kind of adjustable head for tilting the camera and I wouldn't leave it standing alone with heavier cameras mounted to it. ... show more

I am very successfully using it for 360 degree photo shoots and am finding it helpful for other applications such as lighting for Zoom meetings. What makes it helpful for 360 use is the small footprint that must be edited out of shots. Makes it a snap. The smallness of the footprint does make it a little unsteady but that it easily remedied by being mindful of how I position camera, lights, brackets, etc. Very happy with my purchase. ... show more

This is a combination monopod and tripod, but is extremely small and portable. It extends giving good support yet folds down to make it easy to transport. It comes with its own packing bag and is a great photo accessory. I ordered this to use in traveling and it fits the bill perfectly
