As I get older I realize I need to start to hire people to assemble stuff like this but....it took me longer to disassemble my existing platform bed than it did to assemble this one! The directions were not easy to follow (especially unclear about which screws to use where - plus they were noted as numbers in one sections and letters in another. But I put aside the directions and just laid it all out and within a half hour I had it all assembled. Don't freak out when you have it done with all but the wood slats - I was really concerned about how sturdy it would be because the metal frames didn't attach to anything, but then once I put the slats on there were more spots for screws and it's completely secure! I have 2 of my dogs that like to sleep under the bed for a few hours so I am relieved it's secure and sturdy. Nice looking bed and fits my king size mattress perfectly!

For a mature 15 yr old boy. Slats are wood but are thin and and particle board slats lay on seems like not the best enforced. I wouldnt recommend for any kids that jump on bed or slam their selves down on it. Cannot use a box spring as it will cover the entire head board; so mattress only. We have a pillow top and there is no gaps b/t mattress, headboard or frame. Fabric good quality. Good space saver. No damage. Shipping ran behind and took about 5-7 days to get. Shipped from California to Louisiana. We are pleased. *assembly was easy for the guys. I am not an assembly person

The quality of the product for the price point is perfect in my opinion. The directions are clear, the headboard is smooth and well built, the frame is solid, the bolts are good quality. Very impressed, with the tools provided, and made it very easy for assembly. Well done!

One person can put it together but it's easier with 2. The directions aren't the best but we figured them out easily enough. The ratcheting allen wrench included is super handy! The bed seems solid, and I like that the footprint is only a couple inches larger than the mattress. Nice entry level bed.
