Oh my gosh these pillows are absolutely amazing! At first I was a little bit leery because they come in such a small box. They were all rolled up but once you take them out of the box, unpack them and let them rise to their original shape, a-mazing! I will say it took a couple of nights to get used to because they really are super plush so compared to the flat pillows I had previous, with almost no support, they seemed very firm. However, I was determined because they felt so soft and I bought them in king size so I was really excited to give them another go. Truly an amazing experience. When you lay on it it not only supports your head but kind of hugs around your shoulders to support your upper body as well. At least it does for me. Each night as soon as I lay my head down on my pillow I just grin like a fool because it just feels so good. Like a baby doll, I lay down, my eyes close and I am off to sleep . I can’t say enough good things about these pillows. I just absolutely love them and I am so glad that I bought them.

So far so good. As others have mentioned do not follow the instructions to wash the inner pouch with the material. If you do would take forever to dry as in it would probably be mildewy before it dries. But you should wash the outer cover. Took about a day and half for the pillows to decompress after unpacking. Did have a slight almost medicinal odor to it when first opened but after about 2 days that dissipated completely. So far so good on the comfort. Because it is not a solid piece and instead is a bunch of smaller cut pieces it both molds and cradles the head. As such you have that feeling of soft fluffy pillow with the support of a firm pillow. I would rate it about a medium firmness out of package. I have arthritis and joint issues in my neck and shoulder and has helped some with the pain. Is the most comfortable when sleeping on your side. Sleeping on your back you have to maneuver it just right so that it it supports your neck just right, but is not particularly hard and such don't need the cervical pillow I was using with my other pillows. The only "complaint" (if you can call it that) is that the material definitely retains heat. In cooler months is not so much of an issue. With the 105 degree heat we have been having it can make for a sweaty night as such you will definitely need pillow covers and will have to change them often. At least until it cools down. And yes normal pillow covers fit the size you get and are not some odd custom size as some of these types of pillows are. If you are not used to down (or down like) pillows it could take a bit of getting used to as is not the same type of feel to it as the standard pillow and while comfortable the pillows are a bit heavy compared to standard pillows. I wish I had bought a second set for the other half while they were still on sale.

So I gave these pillows 5 stars because they are so comfortable and fluffy. Now let's get to the reason I'm not happy. About 3 weeks ago my 2 year old daughter had and accident on my pillow, so I washed it as said can be done and followed the directions like I did when I bought them. Well it's 3 weeks later my pillow is coming apart and is still wet on the inside and smells of mold. I sent them an email and asked what they could do to help. I was told that they didn't have a single pillow in stock so they could give me a partial refund. I sent them an email back and I asked if they could send me a two pack of pillows again and if that wasn't possible then I would take the refund while it's been about 2 weeks and I haven't heard a thing back from them. Super annoyed

I’m a big review reader but seldom leave a review unless I really like a product!! I’ve went through so many pillows bc I’m a side sleeper and need that neck support! Sometimes I wake up on my back but with this pillow it’s very comfortable sleeping either way! Now if you like thin pillows, this pillow is not for you! It’s very thick and fluffy, holds its shape! Takes a little while to get to its full shape but I just opened the pillow, laid it on my bed and walked off! Tried this pillow for 3 nights now and I slept solid all night, didn’t want up with neck pain from sleeping on a new pillow! This is amazing! I will always keep an extra one, buy it you won’t regret it!

I wish you could see my "order list". I order pillows like buying toilet paper. I'm NEVER satisfied and it's a huge topic of conversation for me. My internet tabs are mostly searches for pillows. I've had a lot of abdominal surgeries, so I kind of sit up (like in a recliner), while sleeping. You wouldn't think it's tough to find a pillow that will sit up, but it is. I had almost had given up. I purchased two pillows just last week so when I came across this pillow I was telling myself not to waste time or money. I'm glad I decided to purchase it. It sits up and doesn't go flat once I lay back on it. I'm extremely happy and excited about the many nights of not waking up to fluff and rearrange pillows. Thank you so much!

I will never use regular pillows again. As soon as I buy them from the store they go flat. Even the ones that say "will not go flat!" But not these. I do need to take some foam out to get to the level I like. I almost have enough for another pillow! The fact that it's a pillow case within a pillow case is awesome just in case you do want to make two pillows. And if you ever need to fluff them up....just pop them in the dyer for 20 minutes.
