Works as intended. Connects my desktop to a monitor and accessories, and allows me to connect my work laptop as well. Then I can switch between the two quickly with a click of the button. BLUE/GREEN color code is super useful for knowing which cpu my mouse and keyboard are set to. -0.5 star because its made from a cheap lightweight plastic. The weight isnt enough, so the tension in all the cords leaves it hovering. Will have to get velcro to force it down. -0.5 star since the led light is super bright and there is no way to turn it off at night besides unplugging stuff or turning the computer off. ... show more

Seems that it's tuned to make use of the specific HDMI cables it comes with (between the PC's and the switch). Inserting my own High Speed HDMI cable (w/ Ethernet) between the PC's and the switch did not work (even in the lower 1920x1080 resolution mode). Tried it with two different PC's and cables - constantly switched on/off not able to consistently keep connected. The same High Speed HDMI cables (which didn't work when placed between the PC's and the switch) did check out to work in 4k resolution when used between the monitor and switch instead however......as long as the supplied HDMI cables were being used between the PC's and switch. In short, I'm skeptical it will continue to work, if in the event I ever need to replace one of the supplied HDMI cables.... ... show more

This is so cool. I can finally just use one set of keyboard and mouse for both work and play. The hdmi for the monitor works great too! Update: Found a flaw. It should come with an off switch. Even when laptop is shutdown, the laptop is still providing power through the USB and HDMI outlet. So the kvm switch is still drawing energy out. Waste of electricity and battery life. Having the ability to power off the kvm switch would be great! ... show more

Allows me to easily switch between my two laptops without having to plug and unplug things. I have a shared monitoring, keyboard, and mouse and they all work well with no degradation. my only complaint is the bright light from the device. I have it in my bedroom and it glows really brightly so i need to cover it at night when i sleep. Wouldnt be an issue if its in an office. ... show more

Works well to flip between docking station and desktop PC. It loses a star because I occasionally have sound problems and need to reboot my computer to get it to see my monitor’s built in speakers through the KVM.

I got this to replace a USB KVM which required me to always switch my monitor inputs. With this KVM, I just hit a button and my mouse and keyboard switches with my monitor. The issue is it doesn't work all the time with my fairly recent macbook. I switch between mac and windows and windows always captures my 34 inch. I find myself fairly often having to unplug it from my monitor then plug it back in for the signal to pick up. It works enough of the time for me not to give it 1 star, however I'm not too happy with this KVM. ... show more

I purchased this device so I could use a single keyboard and mouse to control two different computers running Windows 10. So far the responsiveness is very good; I'm able to switch from one computer to another quickly. The only issue I've encountered is that one of my computers does not recognize my keyboard after control is switched away until I reboot the computer; my second computer has no problems detecting the keyboard even after a switch from one computer to the other. I'm using a PS2 keyboard connected to the KVM switch via a PS2-to-USB adapter, however, and it's possible the problem is more an issue with the computer not recognizing the keyboard rather than a problem with the switch itself. Overall, for the price, I'm well pleased with this product so far, and I hope it lasts a long time. ... show more
