Just received today 10/20/23, a nice king mattress for $300 can't complain about that. The corners didn't expand to the full 10" no biggie. It's med firm but still a bit plush and very supportive! I had a Serta iComfort which was shot a cpl years back but couldn't drop another $1k on a mattress, I had no idea "mattress in a box" was a thing except for the purple one on TV. If I get a couple years out of this it was a good buy indeed. Night 1 sleeping on it was a nightmare. I left my 3" memory foam topper on it thinking it would help extend the life of the mattress. It did more harm than good. I tossed and turned all night and woke up on a ton of pain. I didn't want to toss the topper so I put it under the mattress since I have no storage for it. Turned out perfect. The mattress is amazing but to those saying it's soft or plush they might be reviewing the wrong mattress. This one is medium firm more on the firm side. I was concerned being a big girl I would sink into it (6' 235lb) but I barely made a dent and it was very supportive. My BF is 6' 325lb and sinks in a bit but he's still comfy. So if you're looking for a medium firm-firm mattress this is definitely the one you want. To get a king for $300 is amazing.     • Use Iron steam or dryer to rebound after unpacking! Not bad for the price but on firm side.

The box came in and was damaged on all corners which is okay due to how heavy the mattress is. The problem was one corner of the box had a puncture and it went through the layers of vacuum bag the company wraps it on and one area of the outer cover of the mattress had a slight puncture. After unpacking it will only rebound to a certain amount. Use a hair dryer or Iron with steam and hit all corners of the bed making it expand to the maximum. I ordered the 14 inch and was only able to get 12-1/2 to 13 inches fully expanded after rebounding the whole mattress. Not bad for the price but I am worried about the cover puncture that may rip bigger later on. Mattress is on the firmer side but we will see after a few months if it becomes softer. It was wider than the base of my bed which was 60 inches so you will have to slide it in to make it fit which is not too bad since it will hold sheets better. ... show more

I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because this bed is SO firm. It did inflate very quickly, but it’s just so firm. I have to have 2 mattress pads on top just to be able to sleep on it. My son got the same one and loves it just like it is though.

Comfortable and was able to sleep on it within five hours of opening. Most importantly and impressively there was no prolonged or excessive off gassing. I slept well and didn’t miss my traditional mattress. For the price you simply can’t beat this. Truly impressive.

I’m a huge fan of beds in a box. We have ordered about 6 total so far. They are firm but so soft. My only complaint on this one is that I ordered a 12 inch & its 10 inches at best. We gave it about 2 days to fully open before sleeping on it. Disappointing being we paid more for a 12.

We've had this 10" mattress in our Promaster van for almost four months and I've never in my life had the pleasure of laying/sitting/sleeping on anything more comfortable.. ever. It is perfect. I'm a big girl too and, so far, it isn't compressing and it bounces right back. Doesn't get stuck or deformed. My husband of 28 years has had to sleep most of the past few years in his recliner because all the various regular mattresses hurt his back so much.. until we moved into the van and got this one. He sleeps so good and wakes up rested and not hurting. There is also the matter of me always waking up during the night in a pool of sweat. Not with this one. The cooling layer really works. We both sleep so comfortably and cool and we don't sink in toward the middle, unlike with our barely-a-year-old pillow top. I'm just so impressed and appreciative.
