I purchased this keyboard to use with a Galaxy S8, the setup I am using to type this review so that you will be able to see the issue with it. I have just paired the device to the phone and, as you can see, it is working fine. Now, I am going to fold the keyboard, turning it off, and then open it back up. AAs yyou ccan ssee, the connnection has gonne wierd andd the keyyboarrd rregiisterrs siingle keyppressses multiplee timmes. Feeling when I push down the keys is so smooth and the response is fast. I can easily carry it in a pocket of my jeans because of the size and weight (it is VERY light), and the size of the keys are almost as big as my Macbook Air's. It took me a while to get used to the layout of the keyboard because of its unique angle. After some practice with brief texts to my family and friends, I got the hang of it and this little thing has become an indispensable gadget to go with my iPhone. ... show more

Incredibly convenient, lightweight keyboard. One of the indicator lights shows how much battery life is left (based on number of blinks). I switched from using a Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet for taking handwritten notes for meetings to using this keyboard instead, because I realized many times I couldn't decipher my own handwriting, and after all, typing is faster. And I couldn't be happier. I wouldn't really put it in a pants pocket though, because each of the two panels is stiff (as they SHOULD be) and I'm afraid putting it in my back pocket and sitting down may break it. It sorta looks like a large wallet when folded, and its thickness when folded is about the same as a typical wallet, if not thinner. But don't fall into the temptation to put it in your pocket! The sound made from typing keystrokes is about the same as a typical notebook PC, meaning relatively quiet. Only spent one day with it so far so I don't know how long one charge would really last, but it is rated for 40 hours of continuous use, meaning on my usual schedule of meetings (which isn't too many), it should last me at least a couple of months. Comparing this to Microsoft's Universal Foldable Keyboard (which I admit I haven't used), this one seems to be better because the keys are split into two sets at an ANGLE, meaning your hands and wrists are at more natural positions when typing. AND it's at least 50% cheaper than the Microsoft. ... show more

This folding keyboard has a really nice feel to it. It closes securely using magnets, and turns on and off when opened and closed (no switches)! Once I sync'd it with my phone, it connects / disconnects when opening / closing with no problems. I purchased this to use with my Samsung Galaxy S9+ in DeX mode and it's perfect for that. The screen on the phone turns into a touch pad, so no need to buy a separate mouse, and I couldn't find any keyboards with a build in touch pad on the left (I'm left handed) anyway, so it worked out perfectly. I do wish that the micro-USB connector was built a little better. It feels shallow and weak. I guess it wont be an issue if you are very careful when connecting and disconnecting it, and I would recommend that you do NOT use it when charging as I fear one wrong move would damage it. The right shift key is a little smaller than I would like. Only time will tell how the soft material connecting the two sides of the keyboard will hold up, but I really like the feel of it, and with a reasonable amount of care, I'm hopeful that it will last a long time. Small ergonomic keyboards are not easy to find. I use an ipad at work, but typing on the Ipad screen is too cramped and a separate keyboard that lies flat in front of screen is better suited for a mans hands. This keyboard is the right idea. The buttons are like chicklets, half as thick and responsive. It is going to take some practice to adjust to having my space bar split apart by two inches so that both hands can use it. It is really nice how the board folds up into a rectangle and turns itself off. When in use it resembles a pair of wings that are angled forward so that the hands are in an ergonomically comfortable position. It’s about two inches wider than the Ipad, and folded up, it is about 1\3 the surface area of the Ipad. The blue tooth pairing worked smoothly with no special tricks required. If you are used to a regular keyboard, you are in for some retraining of the hands and brain. If it were to be better for me, it would be about 4-6 inches wider, but I think I’m going to like it. It will replace my little Logitech blue tooth keyboard that I really liked, but I would get wrist fatigue after 15 minutes of typing. ... show more

What a completely robust and well developed keyboard. Not only is the keyboard spread out for those of us who don't have tiny baby hands, but the keys are nice and clicky-clacky, for that tactile response us manly men enjoy. None of that internet cafe spineless soft rubber buttons here. Turns off when you close it... and battery lasts forever. Three weeks into use with the charge that came in it. 10/10 Would recommend. ... show more

I travel a lot and work from the road. This one time, I decided to leave my laptop behind when going on vacation. And then I got an email and had to get something out quickly. I'm at the airport. All I have is my phone. I need to modify a document--too big of a job for a phone, really. I went to every electronics store in the airport and couldn't find a travel bluetooth keyboard. I painstakingly got that document out using my phone but it was awful. Got this and don't leave home without it. Charges quickly, works with my phone and my Surface 4 Pro.
