When I first received this product, I quickly put it to work since I was eager to improve the privacy of my product. It was intriguing to go through the installation procedure. A squeegee, alcohol wipes, and a dust removal sticker are all included in the packaging, which is something that I found to be quite helpful. However, it was difficult to line up the protector in such a way that it was properly aligned on the very first attempt. The process of getting it correct required me to make three tries, and even after that, I still ended up with a few minor air bubbles that I was unable to get rid of entirely. After it was implemented, the privacy function left a lasting impression on me. A clean and visible image may be seen on the screen when seen from the front. On the other hand, when seen from the side, it turns opaque, which successfully prevents nosy neighbors from looking at my work or any personal information I may have. This has proven to be very helpful when I am working on confidential information in various locations, such as coffee shops or when I am commuting. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Generally, this works just as you’d expect with excellent privacy from the left and right sides when in landscape mode. There isn’t any polarization the other way, so if you were holding it portrait style, there wouldn’t be privacy to the left or right. This screen is the best for writing notes and drawing on iPad. I previously was using the ESR magnetic matte paper-like detachable screen protector but the protector got so scratched up so fast from my apple pen metal tips. I looked at a lot of screen protectors like this one and went through all the reviews, and this was the only one that had good reviews for everything. So I bought it and I’ve been using it for over a week now, and it’s literally so good. I can write better and more comfortably and my metal pen tips don’t scratch the protector at all, they just glide across. It’s also so affordable and it was simple to get any bubbles out when installing it with the tool provided. The quality of this screen protector is way better than my other paperlike screen protectors which dulled the screen, but this one looks really good like any other regular screen protector. ... show more

As a few of the other reviewers have stated this thing is a pain to install. I am glad they sent 2 screen protectors because the first one was an utter mess. I took precautions and installed the first one in the bathroom with a steaming hot shower running to cut down on dust particles, this thing still picked up dust particles like crazy once I peeled off the 1st cover sheet. I ended up having to trash the first one because it was completely covered with dust and hair. Attempt #2 I made the bathroom extra steamy turned off the AC in the house and stuffed towels under the doors to keep airflow to a minimum. Even with all these precautions my 2nd screen protector has a bunch of dust stuck underneath and I learned on the 1st one if you try to lift it at all to remove dust it only makes it worse. At this point I am stuck with a screen protector that has a bunch of dust particles and air bubbles under it. I will probably keep the screen protector on because I really like the feel of it, it is far far superior to the other matte screen protectors I have installed on my ipad over the last 2-3 years. It is probably worth the price just for the feel of the screen but be prepared for a terrible installation process. Update 6/6/2020 - I am updating my review because after experiencing weeks of touch issues with my iPad I got frustrated and removed the screen protector. Magically all my touch issues are now fixed. Maybe I had a defective product but what good is a paper like feel to the screen if it won’t respond to my touches or my Apple Pencil. ... show more
