Maybe I didn't look carefully enough at the listing before I ordered, but I was surprised and impressed by the size and diversity of this set of brushes. There are many different kinds -- more than I have any idea how to use -- and each brush has been carefully packaged within the case to protect its bristles in transit, some just sheathed in plastic, others in plastic mesh. The case itself is sturdy-seeming pleather, nicely designed with a pocket for each brush. It rolls up to close and fastens with ties. As others have mentioned, the pleather has a strong, unpleasant smell when the set is first unwrapped. I've left it out to air for a couple of days now and the smell is fading, but not yet gone. You might prefer to keep the brushes in a drawer or cup and toss the case if yours also smells bad, but it's kind of a shame because the case is attractive and well-organized. I'm waiting to see if the smell will go away altogether. Meanwhile, I took off a star for the smell. If it goes away, I'll come back and update. This set of brushes is so comprehensive that it would be best for a professional makeup artist, someone trained in cosmetology, or someone who just loves makeup and knows a lot about how to use it. I don't fit in any of these categories, and wish the set had come with a key indicating what use each brush is intended for. Even with an explanation, it would be a bit more than what I need. But (except for the smell) it would make a great gift for someone who really knows her makeup!

The makeup brushes and bag are a great set. There is a makeup brush for every type of use that you can think of in the morning. I like how they are all contained in the bag. The bristles are just as soft as more expensive brands. Here is my problem. The bag has a terrible odor to it. I don't even want to keep it on my counter. So, I took the brushes out that I use a lot and put them in a cup instead. I also wish it came with a description of what each brush should be used for. I'm still happy with them; I would just change a couple of things about this product.

The roll these come in is very nice for presentation. Its not super high quality, but it at least looks nice. The brushes themselves are very cheaply made. They shed terrible.

The presentation of these brushes is so nice. The brush bag itself feels leathery, adding a touch of fancy to the whole set. I tried out a bunch of the brushes, and they did their job well. Smooth application, good variety, and the whole set looks pretty chic. But, when I decided to wash the brushes I used, some shedding happened. Not a deal-breaker, but it's worth mentioning. However, considering the price tag, I'm not too fussed about it. This set won't break the bank, and honestly, it gets the job done.

I am always on the hunt for affordable brush sets that are comparable to the competing brands. I have to say BS Mall is seriously one of them. I love their brushes and this set was no exception. The brushes have nice long handles that are chocolate brown color with soft dense brown bristles. The gold accents really tie the whole thing together. This 24 piece set also includes a brush case!! It's a pu leather and individual spots foe every brush!! Some complained about a smell but I didn't have that issue. No matter you should always wash brushes upon first use & these washed beautifully no bristles falling or shedding! Each brush was individually wrapped in plastic to keep from being damaged.
