I was very surprised to find this iPod to be very sturdy. It is all aluminum heavy duty aluminum. I'm very impressed. I love how it holds my iPad in place I have a large iPad Pro it's fit, snug and securely very easy to put together. The phone holder works perfectly. It has two little push buttons on the side of it to expand for larger phones fits very snug, very impressed. The only thing that I wish that it came with was a remote. It needs a remote, but overall I gave it a four because it needs a remote. Very good product for the money as advertised. I had bought two other trap pots and they were a piece of junk. I was very skeptical about this one, but I gave it a try anyway, and I am highly pleased would highly recommend. ... show more

Was hesistant on the ipad holder to hold my 12.9 ipad pro but it does really good compared to the other style. Having the smaller attachment really helps as well. Stand is sturdy and I would take it with me to live gigs. I play bass guitar and the hieight is great as well. Great stand so far.

The tripod exceeded my expectations. I use my iPad to display my music. The phone attachment with my wireless mics gives me the opportunity to record my show . It is compact and doesn’t take a lot of room in my equipment bags.

    • Adequate construction, limited positioning of iPhone/iPad & iffy holder designs

First, the tiny instructions pamphlet is about as bare bones as it gets. Base and legs are fairly stable. Attaching clamp holders is not intuitive, and actually difficult. The iPad holder is especially difficult to use. Instructions do little to help. After figuring out how the attachments mounted, it was time to put my iPhone Xs into its holder. It had to be mounted vertically as the scope of the clamps would not go down far enough to hold the phone in its horizontal position. This was important to ensure the rear camera (with the most resolution and functionality) would have unobstructed line of sight. But no go, so centered the camera body in the clamp vertically. Hit the camera button and had the mounting post in half the view. WTF! Had to move the camera as far right in the clamp as it would go before falling out in order to get unobstructed view. I have some specific photography I want to do and this stand is less than ideal but I can make it work. As for the iPad Pro (10.5") I finally figured out it mounts at two corners, but had to remove its protective case. Not the end of the world. Adjusting the clamps and such can be a hassle and believe a more competent product engineer could fix all these issues. People will use stands like this to take photographs and videos, and not just watch something on their screens. Poor marketing research on manufacturer's part. ... show more

Holds iPad Pro solidly with no wobble. Easy to assemble. Includes carry bag. Nice touch. Parts are a bit lightweight and plastic. But good enough for occasional music gigs and practices. Unsure how durable it would be for extra heavy and frequent disassembly. For my use, I would buy again.

This iPad holder could be a musicians dream but the most important feature is lacking. I have a 12.9 M2chip device which is pricey so the safety of my iPad is paramount. It feels as if the clamps are going to shoot the device across the room if the ball head doesn’t drop it on the ground first. The wingnut that tightens the viewing position does not secure the device enough to stay in place hands free. I wish I had written a review sooner for warranty purposes.
