So I ordered this case for the seventh generation iPad that came out in 2019. I ordered two and I placed the order with Amazon on October 4, 2019. I still have the iPad, It’s still going strong. But the original case that I had on it just now finally died in 2026 and needed replacement. I would say that lasted a very long time. And for the most part looked good until it completely and rapidly disintegrated at some point in the last month lol. But since I ordered two I had a second one ready to go. Installation is super simple, it just snaps right into place. It’s a perfect fit for my iPad and totally compatible. All of the necessary access is in the right place so you can access all of the buttons easily, charge with the case on, input different accessories, etc. etc. Basically once you put the cover on you don’t really need to take it off again. I like that the iPad will go to sleep when the cover is closed, same as the brand-name cover. And I like how it streamline it is and that it and doesn’t add any bulk. It’s not super protective the way an Otter case would be which for me is fine, I don’t use my iPad in the same way that I use my iPhone, but that is something to be aware of. Basically, this is a solid knock off of the brand-name version and the brand-name version costs $79 so I am very pleased with my experience with this case ... show more

Super cute case, color is perfect. I don't like that it leans back when using the stand. No pen holder which is kind of inconvenient. The quality is ok, after a while the case gets dinged up and will tear/have scratches but it took several months for that to happen to me. This case is perfect for me. It’s lightweight, hard, and comfortable in my hands. The gaps between the folds are smaller which makes it more durable. I previously had a thicker case with a pen holder and it was soft, but that case had trouble fitting in my bag, easily damaged, and couldn’t be cleaned easily. This one is so much better and perfectly thin to fit. I was unsure about the clear back, BUT my silver iPad looks very clean and new in it.
