YOU IMMED GET USED TO THE KEYBOARD AND IT'S NO NOIIER THAN MY SURFACE GO...I LOVE THAT IT HOLDS A CHARGE, I LOVE THAT IT'S MAGNETIC TO THE CASE AND YOU CAN MOVE THE BOARD AROUND ON THE MAGNETIC CASE AND THE IPAD TO DIFF ANLES..THIS MEANS WHEN I'M SLOUCHIN IN A COMFY LIBRARY CHAIR OR CRAMPED ON AN AIRPLANE I CANADJUST SCREEN AND KEYBOARD ANGLES. I THINK THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT AND IT'S TOTALLY AFFORDABLE--WAY BETTER THAN APPLE'S KEYBOARD!! old review: I bought the apple keyboard for iPad and the control freaks at Apple disable certain functions ON THEIR OWN KEYBOARD if you’re out using their apps. SERIOUSLY? If I’m in email or any of MY apps the arrows and other things are disabled. Someone needs to take them down a notch. So I bought this keyboard and it’s fine, but here are the differences: 1) the case on this attached to keyboard if great and easy to slide the iPad into, 2) the keyboard is noisy and since the wave of using our devices is more and more public, that would be a good thing for the company to fix, 3) it’s heavier, but that much so, and as the reviewer before me said, you get used to it, 4) I didn’t like the backlight feature but it’s easy to turn off, 5) not bothered by having to charge it, that seems fine, keyboard and it’s a bit intense and not quite as cool —it’s heavy and that’s kind of a drag but it works, 6) the pressure on the keys is more intense, kind of retro, but since I write for a living I’m used to typing, and again, you get used to it. It would just be better for those around me if the keys were padded for a quieter sound, 7) it takes a minute to realize that o use the forward delete button you need to hold down the function key—they could fix this too, 8) the biggest drag for. Writer on the iPad is copying and pasting...the mouse is so fast and this interface is not. It’s not the fault of the keyboard—it’s Apple’s issue. I also have a Surface Go, and that’s so much easier to work with when moving large blocks of text and editing, b/c I can attache an external mouse. The touch screen copy/paste function on the iPad has always been glitchy...which means, too, on this keyboard that to erase large blocks of text you either have to fiddle with the glitchy highlight/paste iPad function, or you have to delete backwards letter by letter on this keyboard (it’s very slow.). But overall for the money, this is a solid keyboard, and I love that the case comes with it! ... show more

Great price and sleek design!

I never write reviews but this product is worthy. Totally does it’s job, folds up nicely and looks great, like a book. I like that the keyboard is removable so that when your not using it, you can fold the flap over and use the iPad just how you would by itself. A couple little things that can be irritating: 1) There is a delete button right above the backspace button on the small keyboard, and when hit resets the iPad to the lock screen. I find myself accidentally hitting this often and having to keep unlocking the iPad. 2) It doesn’t really let you know when the keyboard needs to be recharged, it will just kinda stop working. To avoid this I usually always just charge the keyboard when I’m charging my iPad so nbd. 3) Occasionally when you first turn on the Bluetooth keyboard it will not find the keyboard right away or have me delete the connection and then refind it. Not a big deal just sometimes takes a few extra seconds to get set up. Overall I really love the case and it’s sleek design, and for the price (over half the price of most other ones I’ve seen), totally worth it! ... show more

Premium keyboard at a budget price

There's really no need to spend 200-300 bucks on a keyboard case when this is available. And with backlighting, no less! I'm one of those users for whom backlighting has become a must-have feature in my keyboards. My primary home machine and my primary laptop's keyboards both have backlights. I was happy to find this for my new iPad, although I had my reservations because, more often than not, "ya git whut ya pay for". Imagine my surprise at finding that this item really feels like I got a bargain. It connects via bluetooth, yes, but I haven't had any issue with that. After the initial connection, it's able to recognize and connect the keyboard seamlessly when the keyboard is turned on. I've charged it once in two weeks. I'd say that speaks pretty well to the battery life. The backlighting is solid. It's not cheapo, faded lighting. It's full-on, LED glory. And you have the option of the full rainbow of colors to pick from (which you can do quickly and easily at the press of a special key). The cover folio gets the job done. The iPad can sometimes slip a little, as the notches aren't perfect for the size of the the iPad itself. However, if you have the keyboard in place, that will prevent any slippage. And that will give the whole unit a more stable feel. You can pick the whole thing up and carry it around in one hand with ease. For the price point, I don't think you're going to find a better cover-keyboard combo with backlighting. They've done a great job. ... show more

Great case, great colors, but keyboard is glitchy

I’m gonna be honest…I LOVE THE CASE. Such cute colors! I have the vibrant purple and the light blue. Love them! However, I’m not as thrilled with the keyboards. I love the fact they’re white and they’re wireless and they have the backlit RBG. I was very happy with that! But the functionality is less appealing. I’ve bought two keyboards - the first one died in the first month because apparently there is a limit to the amount of wattage it can handle. Whoops. Oh well, lesson learned. And when the first one started having problems with typing - a button would randomly start spamming, or the space wouldn’t always work, or when I’d hit an arrow key to go to a different line and that line is blank it’d skip that line entirely and go to the next line in the same direction which has text. And if you don’t type for sixty seconds, it takes a few seconds for it to register that you’re typing again and those extra key taps are lost so now you have to backspace and type it all out again. When it’s in use, this keyboard is glitchy. But it’s cheap so…I’m considering just getting a port hub for my iPad and getting a better quality separate wireless keyboard, one that isn’t glitchy. I’m a novelist - when I’m in the zone, I can’t let a little like a missing space for some missing letters stop me when I’m on a roll, but it does make it harder to edit later on. ... show more
