Excellent backpack, spacious for it size and very sturdy and well made. Bought this for a trip and it fit perfectly under the airline seat in front of me. Bought a second one for my girlfriend. The extra pockets are perfect for passports and physical tickets. It's a great travel bag.

Bought a few years ago and finally reviewing! Its durability is the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars; the straps ripped with about 6 months of use. Granted, I think I carried an average of 15 lbs in it every day during that time, but as a backpack used by a student, 15 lbs doesn't seem too unreasonable. (The backpack I got to replace it has carried 15-20 lbs for a couple of years.) Other than that, it's a good backpack. It protected the inside from rain, the straps adjusted as necessary, and it stored plenty. I never tried the USB on the side, and the front pocket was kind of hard to reach into. Overall, I would recommend this backpack if you don't plan to pack heavy things in it. ... show more

Ever since I had my MATEIN Backpack I purchased back in 2020 I knew that this is the only Backpack that can keep up with the high demands of daily carrying my laptop, phone, and other electronics safely and camera gear. There are so many excellent features about this Backpack, such as the many pockets, and clip for keys. I use the easy to access back pocket to keep my wallet and access cards, it holds so much. Has excellent shoulder and back padding. I finally thought it was time after six years to replace my 2020 MATEIN with a new 2026 release and it's just as fabulous as the first, just a bit smaller in the physical dimensions. I've easily carried 20+ lbs in the bag and the handle or shoulder straps were never an issue. It's a near perfect Backpack that dries fast if wet and the zippers never jammed. Highly recommended. I can't believe that you can get this much value out of such an inexpensive, but ultra high-quality Backpack. It's amazing. ... show more

Sturdy, good size, lots of actually useful pockets. The straps are also sturdy, padded, and make it comfortable to wear for longer periods of walking without back and shoulder strain. I love the look (light gray with black accents). The zippers are easy to access and seem sturdy, with small holes for locking. Regarding stability, the bag bears reasonable amounts of weight without too much shifting about of objects inside and far less lopsidedness than I expected, considering the capacity of my water bottle. I haven't used a backpack in years and this backpack reminds me of how much I love using them! Now, I just need one in camo.... ... show more

This is a great backpack! It's incredibly functional and fits my two 14" laptops, one for work and one for personal use. There are three main compartments: one for a laptop, another for major items such as notebooks or clothes, and a third smaller one for miscellaneous items such as pens and chargers. There are also a lot of functional pockets within the bag that I find convenient. This is my main travel bag for work, but I'm confident this will also work for most students in high school and university settings. My only minor complaint is that the zipper handles jingle. Nice quality, and for the price it checks a lot of boxes. Has all kinds of pockets, good capacity and can safely carry large laptop. Not sure if it's weather resistant in anyway. But very practical, looks good and slim when not carrying much.
