Tips for New Owners: 1. Install the mattress pad Position it so the removable label places the controller at the upper-left corner of the bed (when facing the pillows from the foot). Plug in the controller. 2. Download the app Use the QR code on page E6 of the user manual (click the yellow link) to go directly to the download page. Do not search the App Store—the search function did not work for me. Download the app, create an account with an email and password, and complete the email verification. 3. Pair the device Open the app, tap the + button, and select “Add Device.” Press and hold the power button on the controller’s touchscreen for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi icon blinks rapidly. Allow it to pair (a small mattress icon will appear). Tap ADD, then DONE. Setup is complete. Review: I have used heated mattress pads for most of my life, and until now they have all been essentially the same. Bwarm has rethought the product from the ground up. Nearly every aspect is an improvement over previous models I have owned.The app and scheduling features are outstanding. In the past I had to enter the bedroom an hour early, turn the dial to maximum heat, and hope I remembered to lower it before falling asleep. With the Bwarm app I can set a schedule to raise the temperature for a preferred warm-up period, lower it after I fall asleep, and raise it again before waking. These schedules can run automatically every night or on selected days. Alternatively, the Preheat function combined with Sleep Blocks provides the same flexibility for manual use. Both options are genuine game-changers.The temperature range is more practical than the non-solid-state controllers I previously used. My old Sealy pad’s Level 1 registered approximately 87°F—often too warm in milder weather, forcing me to kick off the blankets. Bwarm’s Level 1 is approximately 84°F, which is ideal for warmer conditions. At the high end, the Sealy reaches about 126°F while the Bwarm reaches about 129°F. I verified these temperatures with an ecobee room sensor; they are accurate. The extra few degrees at each end make a noticeable real-world difference. I now preheat at Level 8 instead of the maximum I previously needed.The solid-state digital controller is a major upgrade. It is the first controller I have not wanted to hide under the bed. It is silent, has substantial weight, sits flat without sliding, and features a clean, sophisticated appearance. The main visible cord is round and flexible rather than the stiff flat cable common on other brands. Previous controllers were lightweight, prone to sliding or tipping, and looked inexpensive.The mattress pad itself has thicker padding and thinner wires. On my Sealy pad the wires were easily felt through the cover; on the Bwarm they are imperceptible. The fit is excellent on my 16-inch mattress, with deep pockets and elastic that extends fully around the edges.ProsMore usable temperature range (verified with an independent sensor): – Sealy: 10 levels, ~87–126°F – Bwarm: 9 levels, ~84–129°F The lower minimum eliminates the need to kick off blankets on Level 1; the higher maximum benefits users who need extra heat. Countdown timer that displays remaining time (e.g., 8 → 7 → 6 hours, down to 0.5 hours then Off). Single controller for both sides that plugs in at the front of the mattress. Installation is simple, eliminates most under-bed wiring, and avoids trapping cords. The second side is controlled via the app, voice, or by reaching across. Excellent app that enables true set-and-forget operation. Setup is straightforward even for less tech-savvy users. ConsThe controller screen arrived with scuffs and scratches on my first unit and required an exchange. Better protective packaging would prevent this. SummaryThis is the nicest, most thoughtfully designed heated mattress pad I have used. The front-mounted controller with a generous 6-foot cord, substantial build quality, and outstanding app make everyday use far more convenient. I also purchased the competing Sunbeam Wi-Fi model for comparison; in my experience the Bwarm is superior in every respect. The Sunbeam requires manual confirmation on the physical controller within a limited time window, defeating much of the purpose of an app, and its controller is a basic lightweight unit.I appreciate the 5-year warranty and the company’s responsive email support. The pad has ample cushioning, undetectable wires, and a controller that is both functional and attractive. Once you experience app-based scheduling and remote control, it is difficult to return to a traditional pad—similar to the shift from keyed car doors to remote entry.I have always supported innovative companies that improve on established designs rather than simply copying inexpensive versions of existing products. Bwarm has earned that support. I have already ordered a second queen-size unit for the guest room. At this price, with a solid warranty and helpful support, there is little risk. If you want the best heated mattress pad currently available, this is the one to buy. It is a genuine game-changer.

Nice product with easy setup

I cannot comment on longevity of this since I just got it setup but I love the app control. My previous mattress pad was setup on a smart plug so I could set a schedule. This one has it built in. I was pleasantly surprised to find the plug and controller connect at the head of the bed. No more running wires under the mattress. There is only one controller that attaches at the top left of the bed which operates both sides of the mattress pad. This is not a problem since it is designed to be controlled from the app. Setting it up on 2.4 wifi was easy and setting a schedule for my side of the bed was done in minutes. My partner only occasionally uses the heated pad on his side so this works well for us. When setting a schedule using the app you can choose to adjust the left side, right side, or both together. The wiring is well padded and not noticeable while laying on it. The heat setting go from 1-9 and I started on the highest for climbing into bed. It offered plenty of warmth. You have the ability to set several schedules so you can have the temperature adjust throughout the night as you sleep but I just have mine shutting off at midnight otherwise I would wake up too hot in the middle of the night. Overall I am glad I decided to try this and see it as a huge upgrade from the Beautyrest heated mattress pad that only lasted 10 months.

So far I love this heated mattress pad! I have had at least 10 different brands in my lifetime and so far I love this one. There is only one hand controller that comes off the left side of the bed as you are looking at it. You can set the temperature and timer for each side. You can set it up with wi-fi and control it by voice commands through Alexa which is such a nice feature. One of the best features of this bed warmer is that the plug is at the side of the bed not the foot of the bed. I hate it when your feet hit the plug at the foot of the bed in other brands. So far I would highly recommend this heated mattress pad!

We had been looking for a replacement for our failing heated mattress pad, but wanted one we could either control remotely or program to come on automatically, so we chose the Bwarm. We love it! We program it to come on every night at a certain time to prewarm the bed - and it does so consistently - even after power failures. It is a bit warmer than our old pad as well. We also like that the connections between the controller and the pad are at the head of the bed instead of the foot, as the cords on our old one often got pulled when making the bed and caused some of the failure issues. The model we have only has one controller on one side of the bed that controls both sides. That is fine with us, as we do not constantly adjust individual settings. If you have that need, be sure to get a model with 2 controllers.
