Got this for one of my son’s homeschool coop groups. It fits his iPad well. It was a bit tricky getting it setup at first. Once you have it down it is easy from then on. Just needs better instructions for it. When the legs are fully extended it is a little wobbly but we can make it more stable easier than any others we have had. More for stationary use than panning or turning since it won’t do that. Biggest drawback is that the iPad or phone has to come out do the case in order to fit. It’s lasted for nearly two years. Granted it’s not used on a daily nor weekly basis but since he’s not broken just in the bag shows its sturdiness ... show more

This was needed to hold my iPad during virtual music lessons. It is durable. Trust me, mine is knocked over repeatedly by my 60 lb dog. It holds my iPad that is not in a case snuggly.

If you need a quick tripod like I did to film a project, then it’s pretty fine—it gets the job done. But if you want a tripod to keep for long-term use, PLEASE get something else! ASSEMEBLING: Hard to assemble because there are absolutely no instructions. Even with my knowledge on tripods, it still took a while to fingers things out. Also, there are plastic holes for medal screws. It’s horrible. The holes are properly cut and there are some small pieces of plastic unevenly cut as a result. LEGS: One of my biggest problems was with the legs because they’re not all the same thickness. The lower legs are much thinner than the higher legs which is horrible for stability and support. It made me so uncomfortable the whole time. They’re also not fluid—they’re hard to adjust. CARRYING BAG: You have to deassemble the tripod to put it in the bag. Instead of giving us 2 bags, they should have just gave us one slightly larger bag. It would have been so much more helpful. OVERALL: The tripod’s not that bad though. You can use it. Just if you plan on using it a lot, you should invest a couple extra dollars into something that’s better quality. ... show more
