This coat was fantastic especially for the price. The fit and finish was excellent and it is a warm and windproof hooded winter jacket. There are numerous Velcro closures instead of buttons or snaps but I like Velcro. The blue color was also very tasteful. I simply cannot believe it was offered at this price!

I bought it for a gift, and he likes it a lot. It's water resistance, warm, great for northern winters. I bought the tan and it was really nice looking. I thought because it said it was heavy, I thought I would need the next size up. It turns out they run large. I suggest you getting your normal size. The velcro tabs are great. If you have artritis in your hands, it's great. It looks good too.

First off for the price, you're not going to find a better coat. I suspect you could wear this coat to a Buffalo Bills game in a January snowstorm with nothing but a T-Shirt on underneath and still be warm. Love the overall feel. Plenty big. Got an XL jacket. I wear XL shirts. I could easily wear a hooded sweatshirt under it with room to spare but there's no need because it's so warm. So I'd probably buy a Large unless you plan on sitting in 0 degree (F) temps without moving. Walking the dog with a t-shirt underneath in 25 degrees (F) and you start sweating. Great material, great hood and ample front pockets. The only negatives are: 1) The Zipper - I would have preferred to pay a few more dollars to have a zipper that worked properly. This one gets stuck easily when unzipping and you get the sense it will eventually break. 2) Hand pockets - While there are 4 great front pockets, you would have thought the bottom pockets would also have an opening on the sides for your hands. Not the case. But as mentioned, for the price, I'll take it.
