Omg I’m loving this bed!!! A true princess bed. I was concerned about quality buying on Amazon (you never know what you’re going to get) and especially being an international shipping. The shipping was a bit delayed, however, to be expected with a global pandemic (about a week delayed from expected delivery). It was fairly easy to put together, took two hours with a power drill and both allen wrench and phillips head drill bits. I did run into a bit of trouble with the way some of the fabric and padding was seamed in a way that obstructed the connectors on one of the side rails to the footboard. I found a work around, not perfect but does the trick. All in all, great purchase and priced competitive to similar frame styles.

I absolutely love my new bed! I had to replace my old antique bed that finally broke down. I searched several webstores looking for a bed that would go with the rest of my furniture set. I picked this one because of the lovely scalloped wingback design to the head and foot boards. I also loved the look of the curved legs. After seeing this bed featured on multiple webstores... Amazon had the best deal for my budget. I had the bed delivered to my home and I put it together myself. It would be easier to have a second person help set up the bed but with some assistive items I was able to manage on my own. For example, I used a step stool to prop up the sideboard in place as I was attaching it. The installation took me longer as I was doing this alone and I took breaks. The process was fairly easy. I made sure to read the instructions, count all my pieces, and had them laid out before I started. I chose to hand screw in the pieces as my drill was too bulky to manage some of the tighter spaces. The bed is well designed but it does present challenges when it comes to alignment. As you progress, the alignment adjusts until its finally in place. My first challenge was trying to attach the final corner of the head board with the sideboard. I frustrated and decided to try screwing in and adjusting the opposite corners. This seemed to help the alignment and it click into place after sitting on the edge of the side board. The pieces just need to line up because the cushioning of the sideboards cause some bulk inference when popping it into place. A mallet would be helpful. The other major issue I had was attaching the wood slat metal frame to the bed's head and foot boards. The recommended screws were not long enough to make contact and get a good grip to screw in. I improvised here. Each sideboard has three long screws to attach it. I traded out the third screw for each corner and replaced them with the midsize screws. This solved my problem. There were two other minor issues with the slats' frame. The top slat closest to the headboard is a bit wonky when clicking into place but I was able to get it into a secure position with adjustments. The rest of the slats went in perfectly. The side bars that attached to the sideboards that hold up the slats had an issue with a screw being in the way but again I worked with it. It was a task to put together on my own but worth it! The bed is excellent quality for the price. The headboard is TALL and I love that. It has plenty of space for decorative pillows and still be able to enjoy the look of the headboard. Velvet fabric is soft to touch. The wingback design gives a cozy feel to the room... like a hug. Worth it! Love it!

I would give this bed a 5 star but they mess up on something. When my husband and I put the bed together we thought is was very easy. however, towards the headboard the last pastic frame that the bed goes on could not fit due to the fact that there is a screw blacking it from going into the hold so now my mattress is sinking

Arrived with one bedside railing not aligned with the pre-drilled bolt holes. Chased Modway for four months to get a new bedside railing. Every time I received the same answer “shipment is ready, will let you know when it is shipped”. They have the worst customer service. It is frustrating to have a room with new bed parts laying around and you can’t use the room anymore and no bed to sleep on. After four months of no success, returned the bed to Amazon.

I love my bed, highly recommend it. The only bad thing is that. I don't think my pieces match up right. so my bed is loose. It took me almost 4 hours to assemble and the pieces that hold the bed together do not match up right. So my bed is loose right now but im still able to sleep in it with caution. other than that, its great quality and really heavy pieces. its beautiful
