I purchased this mattress for a van conversion. I needed to cut it down 5" for it to fit in my location. I was very disappointed when I cut it open to see only one type of foam. This is not dual layer and does not appear to be true memory foam. False advertising !!

Top line: Good mattress feel at a budget price; perfect for a guest room Good: What a value! Amazing we live in a day and age where I can get a comfortable guest mattress that will last years for under $60. Took about a day to fully "inflate" (see photos for 5 minutes out of box vs. 1 day). Fully inflated size matches 6", so no shorting on the size. My 6'3" father managed two nights on it without complaint, reporting that it is very firm, but comfortable. Bad: Despite initial firmness, though I suspect this would fade over time while daily adult use. At that point, it would probably be a little more squishy, a feel you can experience right out of the box by checking the 4-6" around the edges. Hard to fault that based on the price. Other: Don't forget about the 6" mattress height--this makes it great for a shorter under trundle bed or bunk bed with shorter rails. ... show more

I purchased this mattress for my daughters top bunk bed. I opened the packaging and allowed the mattress to “poof” up over the whole weekend. The mattress did rise except one end of the mattress. As you can see in the photos the end of the mattress is much less fuller than the rest of it. I had to put this end at the foot of the bed since it’s not comfortable. I wouldn’t recommend this brand due to the quality of the mattress. ... show more

Its ok for a toddler/child's first bed since they dont really weigh much but as far as an adult goes, this bed is horrible. Hard as a rock, it goes way beyond firm and then out of nowhere you sink all the way in. Its hard to describe. I got this for my 2 year old and she does just fine but when i try to lay with her im lucky if i can get out of it. Also one of the ends still hasnt fully "inflated" but since she doesnt lay on that end we let it go. I dont know what else to say...buy at your own risk. Cheapest isnt always the best but again this is good for a toddler or young child and youre not looking to buy a 400 dollar mattress just for them to pee all over it haha. ... show more

My daughter needed a new mattress for her bed and deliverable memory foam seemed like a good way to go, especially for the price. It was interesting unrolling and unwrapping it. I had never ordered a mattress online that was going to be delivered to my house in a box before so I wasn't sure how it was going to go. It unrolled and expanded quite easily. It was new and novel to me. We gave it a night to fully expand before allowing our child to sleep on it, but after her first night of doing so she was very pleased. It mattress itself is aesthetically pleasing. On most beds you won't see it at all with sheets on, but my daughter has a bunk bed with a desk underneath so you do see the bottom of the mattress. So the fact that it is nice to look at, and even has the quilted look of a traditional mattress was a plus. After she slept on it I myself climbed up into her bed and laid down on it to see how it felt to a full grown adult. I was dubious as to it's comfort being that it was only six inches thick, however, once again I was pleasantly surprised. I'm not saying I would want to sleep on it at my age for an extended period of time, but I think I could manage with little complaint a few nights in a row, such as if I was staying at a friend's house for vacation and this was on the bed I was using while there. Purchased this to use on a loft for my 8 year old. It's perfect. The thickness is just right, leaving almost 9 inches between the top of the mattress and the top of the safety rails. It did take a day or so for the mattress to fully expand. At first we didn't notice that we had it upside down. There is definitely softer foam on the top, as indicated in the product description. I was impressed with the compact packaging and how light the mattress is. Getting a comfortable, quality mattress by mail in two days is pretty amazing, especially for the cost. Mattress arrived vacuum packed in box as described. Made it very easy to carry by myself to second floor and open and unwrap and then place on top bunk. Let it sit over night. By morning it had fluffed up. The mattress still had a mild chemical odor to it. By that evening it had faded even more so we put sheets on it. My 75 lb child had been sleeping on it for about 2 weeks. He states it's very comfortable compared to his traditional spring mattress with 1 inch memory foam topper. This mattress was originally bought as the extra for the top bunk, but my son prefers it over the more expensive mattress. It is thin though and does not support my weight well. Would be ok for a night or 2, but not for an every night mattress. Good mattress at a great price for children under 100 lbs or so, or a spare bedroom or camper. ... show more

We got this mattress for our 3 year olds new twin sized bed. It came tightly packaged and took it's full shape within a couple hours. It's firm but comfortable. Our daughter likes it and I find it very comfortable as well! I would definitely purchase this again.
