I have Tul and Happy Planner notebooks and I thought this would work for both. I primarily use Happy planners and this hole punch does not punch deep enough on the page. Both brands are rather pathetic on the number of pages you can punch at a time.

A little bulky but otherwise, it lives up to the Tul name. This product would not be easily carried around for school due to its size and heft. O the than that, I believe it to be a great purchase.

The media could not be loaded. First, this punch is adjustable for full size, half letter, and a4. I use it for half letter (jr size). The hole punch feels very sturdy and not cheap, it is also heavy, not great for portable use unless your just taking it to your desk or the kitchen table. Next, some of the reviews are correct, but....read on for details. I've only used my hole punch about 5 times and I've already run into a small issue. Today I punched a laminated sheet and it got stuck. But it was easily fixed. I took off the bottom part where the paper is stored and I punched them back out with a pair of scissors. A little dangerous but you just need to be very careful. I went back and punched another laminated sheet and it punched perfect but one of the little punches did get stuck and I had to pull the laminated sheet out. It didnt tear. Came out perfectly fine. I turned the punch over and popped the litle punch back out and tried again on a second laminated sheet. This time, after I punched it I firmly held the sheet in place so it didn't move and I pumped the punch up and down 3 more times to make sure the paper wasn't stuck. It came out perfect. Only one punch was stuck but it didnt affect my paper because I had it on the half letter setting and the one that was stuck was all the way at the top. Overall, its not a smooth process to punch laminated sheets but for regular paper, its perfect. I use 32lb resume paper and I havent had any issues. I do recommend if you dont mind fighting with it a little. This punch is the cheapest heavy duty one out there. I also punched 2 sheets laminated together and the only issue was one of the little punches getting stuck. Hope this review helps. ... show more
