Tried for a couple of weeks. The velvet is great quality. I am glad I got to return it because it had 3 serious problems: 1) The ivory color is not IVORY (it is a cream that changes the color depending of the light) 2) Uncomfortable, extremely uncomfortable. If you like to watch movies and sit for a long time, forget it. 3) Fringes and Buttons get messy after you seat on them. Its a shame because the design and size are good ... show more

Absolutely gorgeous seat and so soft!! I was a little hesitant about the purchase before it came as this was my first Amazon furniture purchase, but thankfully I was super impressed. Assembly was super easy - took about 10 min to screw in the 4 feet. One thing to note though - the feet and screws are zipped up inside the bottom of the chair. At first I thought they forgot to send but once I wondered why there was a zipper at the bottom of the chair, I realized they were in there. Highly recommend this product. Arrived much earlier than scheduled - great surprise!! In Perfect shape, nice firmness for people that can't get out of those squishy sofas especially taller, older, bigger people. Weight capacity 1300 lbs. To raise the height of the couch just add furniture wood blocks from Home Depot Which are finished for furniture. Most couches have weak thin legs.
