Let me start by saying that I live in the US Virgin Islands and down here EVERYTHING gets ruined eventually by the salty humid air. However, I am obsessed with Mid-Mod style and I did not want to compromise style, function, and practicality. This couch is perfect for what I need and it is exactly as described in the photos. It's beautiful. It is very firm but I like that it's firm because it won't "sink" as quickly an the cushions will hold their shape for hopefully a long while. The seat cushions are removable but not reversible. They also have zippers on them and the covers look like they can come off. I will not likely try to wash them for a while though, if a situation occurs where they start looking dirty and I need to wash them then I will likely wash them in cold water, gentle cycle, and hang to dry. I am not sure how well the cushions will hold up as we've been using this couch for about 3 weeks. I worry that the areas where we sit the most will have "butt" indents. But only time will tell. Overall, it's a beautiful piece of furniture, feels very sturdy, the legs and base are very well made. Can't beat the price point for a beautiful mid century modern sectional. I will post pictures and update my review ASAP. UPDATED REVIEW!! DO NOT BUY THIS COUCH. We purchased this couch in February. It's now August and the couch cushions have started "sinking" and taking forever to puff back up. It's awful. If you move on the couch or switch positions, you're left with a dent where you were last. There is ZERO bounce/giveway to this couch. I have contacted the Modway company to see if they have any other cushions they could send me. I live in the USVI so I doubt sending it back will be an option as I had to go through freight forwarder to get it here. My only other option is to sell it and hope someone likes it better than I do.

It is gorgeous in every single way. It arrived in perfect condition and was super easy to set up. There is a big metal clamp underneath that holds the two pieces together. It comes with a lot of wide Velcro strips on the bottom of the cushions so they never even move and never even make a sound because the strips are so wide. The chaise portion is wider than I expected but matches the listed dimensions exactly, it’s just one of those challenges of spatial imagination when buying something big online. The angle of the picture probably contributes to that somewhat. The cushions are firm and yet comfortable at the same time. It’s very very easy to stand up; if you are a person (like my mother) who is getting older or has had knee problems you will not have a single worry when you are ready to stand up. When mom sat down the first time she got very excited and said she loved it because she could get up easy, and to prove it she stood up and sat down several times. I have no reason to not be in love with this couch!

We have had custom couches made before but after the last one wore out we started trying inexpensive pieces. Those are NOT a worth the Hassle of getting rid of them when they quickly start to peel. We deceived to go half way lux with this piece. It has much of the sturdiness of a custom piece at 1/2 the price. The corners that were cut are some poorly finished wood on the under frame that could give splinters but honestly, once you put the legs on you would have to reason to visit that part of the instruction. It is a sold and well constructed piece, well packed and almost 100% assembled. If it lasts 10 years it will be well worth the investment because it exudes a custom made quality

I normally don't consider reviews too much but I should have listened this time. I actually like the couch and the sturdy feel of it, HOWEVER the alignment holes in the couch where you would screw in the brackets were way off making the couch crooked and nearly unattachable to each other. ALSO, the brackets themselves were welded entirely off making the brackets unable to safely screw into the couch. Seller customer contact is even worse...I reached out letting them know the defective/damaged things with the couch, I was told it would take about 1-3 days for a response so I waited 4 to give them some time and ended up having to reach back out again which then I was told it take 3-5 days for a response...So I waited a week and heard nothing before again reaching back out, well then they said to wait like another 2 day. At this point I was frustrated and it felt like they were just pushing this off. Finally got back saying they can send replacement parts for the defects instead of a full refund, I mentioned that the whole unalignment is on the couches themselves and it's not just an issue with the brackets. Well she said since i'm REFUSING (all caps like that in her response too..) part replacement they will be scheduling a pickup ASAP, at this point they haven't refunded me anything and wanted to schedule a company to come take the couch away. Kept telling me I received things when I didnt, they ended up sending replacement parts anyways which was just screw. I literally sent them all the photos of defects and they didn't even send the correct parts. They kept accusing my of refusing things and not listening to what I was telling them, needless to say this company has a great product with unfortunate defects and a horrific customer contact for resolutions. Save yourself a headache and deal with a different seller, the couch is still nice.

Assembled in less than half an hour. Delivered to my door. Toughest couch in the known universe. I have 4 young children and 8 dogs 50 to 150lbs no holes scratches or frays one year in! Gets stained and a wet wipe down brings it right back. On top of all that a fantastic price and loads of style. I think I'm in love.
