It is gorgeous in every single way. It arrived in perfect condition and was super easy to set up. There is a big metal clamp underneath that holds the two pieces together. It comes with a lot of wide Velcro strips on the bottom of the cushions so they never even move and never even make a sound because the strips are so wide. The chaise portion is wider than I expected but matches the listed dimensions exactly, it’s just one of those challenges of spatial imagination when buying something big online. The angle of the picture probably contributes to that somewhat. The cushions are firm and yet comfortable at the same time. It’s very very easy to stand up; if you are a person (like my mother) who is getting older or has had knee problems you will not have a single worry when you are ready to stand up. When mom sat down the first time she got very excited and said she loved it because she could get up easy, and to prove it she stood up and sat down several times. We ordered the Azure left-facing sectional sofa and it was delivered per our requested date. We received a phone call from the freight carrier about a half hour beforehand, which was nice. We got our couch assembled in about 45 minutes. I'm glad I had read prior reviews, because my husband was ready to curse out the world thinking the legs were not in the packaging. They are zipped into the lining of the pieces! The material is almost like a fine tweed, it's not scratchy, but it is not microfiber or anything very soft, which you can kind of tell from the photos online anyway. I was expecting it to be on the firmer side (per other reviews) and it is, but it is NOT uncomfortable. I have fallen asleep a few times on this couch so far, and find it very cozy to snuggle on with my husband or the kids. This is in our casual living room, so it's not meant to be NOT lived on, but we have a much more squishy set in our family room. The style is EXACTLY what I wanted, and as advertised. Mid Century modern, low profile, big but not overly so (it doesn't take up the whole living room whatsoever) and super functional. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the piece that attaches the chaise to the sofa was not engineered correctly, so the holes did not line up and my husband had to have another set of holes drilled in the metal, but otherwise, I am completely satisfied! ... show more

Lets start the review with that we were very skeptical, but after reviews, we chose to take the risk. First lets say the window of shipping time was about a month. We received the couch within the first 4 days of the window. I received an email saying it was being shipped a few days before it was marked as shipped on Amazon, then received a text, email and phone call confirming the arrival date with many options if we needed to change. I also got a phone call the day of delivery letting me know the time expected of arrival....they were right on time. The shipping guys were extremely helpful and courteous, brought it right in the house- went the extra mile. It was in three giant boxes, easy to open and in perfect condition. We put it all together in less than an hour- and that was taking our time. (two people are really helpful, but could easily be put together by one) The brackets that connected the pieces- I could see being a little finicky if you don't follow the directions, but I'm pretty sure they would withstand an elephant- extremely sturdy as is the entire couch. Very impressed with solid wood construction and fabric quality. The only thing I could say at all about the couch.... we had been looking at the teal/turquoise color and while we were mulling around it went out of stock and settled for the Azure- thinking it was more of a navy..... it is not. It is more what we thought the teal/turquoise would look like, so we are SO happy with it. IT IS what many other reviews mention- its very firm. (we wanted that). The size measurements on the site said 107" both ways, it is more like 112", but that's not an issue for us. We also thought the feet might stick out but they do not, they are fully under the couch. Hope it lasts for many years to come. Hopefully be able to review again in about 6 months to comment on wear. Overall- worth the money, worth the wait and an amazing couch. ... show more

We have had custom couches made before but after the last one wore out we started trying inexpensive pieces. Those are NOT a worth the Hassle of getting rid of them when they quickly start to peel. We deceived to go half way lux with this piece. It has much of the sturdiness of a custom piece at 1/2 the price. The corners that were cut are some poorly finished wood on the under frame that could give splinters but honestly, once you put the legs on you would have to reason to visit that part of the instruction. It is a sold and well constructed piece, well packed and almost 100% assembled. If it lasts 10 years it will be well worth the investment because it exudes a custom made quality ... show more

We have had this at least a couple of years and it holds up great. My family are large folks who tend to flop down on furniture this frame is built to take that and the cushions are still great too!
