This bed is PERFECT. Not only is it so easy to put together but it is so sturdy. It feels like a very expensive bed frame but at a reasonable price point. I was hesitant to purchase but am so surprised by how great it is. The fabric is very soft and durable. It looks very modern and cozy. I paired it with a 12 in memory foam mattress and it is the perfect height. Would recommend a taller mattress or bed risers if you prefer a taller bed, but this was perfect for me. I had this bed a couple of years ago and even my landlord’s wife wanted to know where I got it. It looks expensive. The linen textured fabric is polyester which means it’s easy care, but it’s a high-end look. So in my new place, I bought it again for my guest room. This time I paid attention to the instructions of how to install the slats! Easy! The negative reviews are puzzling: I think either people don’t follow the instructions, like not tightening the screws all the way until you have the pieces together, or the people are too heavy for this bed. (One reviewer complained there were only three legs for the bed. Her photo was the support legs for the center beam! Bed legs are boxed.). I’m 125 pounds. I thought the mattress looked small for the platform like another reviewer, but once I put all the bedding on, it was a perfect fit. I’ll see how it holds up with more weight on it! The wood components are not the highest quality, but it’s a lot of look for the money. I put it together in two hours (with some distractions), only had to correct a couple of minor mistakes! Look at the instructions carefully. Also, with a bed like this, after it’s been used for awhile, it’s always good to go back and check that the screws are nice and tight. ... show more

I’ve had this bed for two years now. It looks great in my room and has lasted me a while for the price with no problems. I will say, if you have cats. Do not get this bed frame. It’s the perfect scratching post material for them.

Great bed frame.. highly recommend to have a friend help you. I’m a pretty strong and tall woman but I struggled to put it together because it’s very heavy/sturdy. Took me about 3 hours by myself so it would probably take half the time with help. Looks more expensive than it is

Three years ago, I bought a modway bed and one of the side pieces started to break down and finally snapped after a move. Against my better judgement, I ordered another modway bed. I convinced myself that it was my fault because I really really liked the bed. Well, 7 months into my new bed and the side panel started to bulge. 3 months later the panel snapped. I am only one person. My bed is not over used. It is not my building skills that is causing this to happen. These beds are beautiful and the headboards hold up so well, but they are not well made. I’ve been waiting on the company to get in touch for a week. I’m moving in two weeks and am assuming that I’ll have to just add a new bed on top of the moving expenses because I do not see this being resolved by the time I move. Be responsible if you need a bed for every day use. These just don’t hold up the way they should. ... show more

It took me 2 and half hours to assemble it. You have to assemble every thing, my hands sores after assembled. And you have to assemble the slats too, every single slat. But the overall is fine, the bed looks good, and sturdy. So far so good. I just wont buy again.
