This compression sock seems to be helping an ankle situation that unexpectedly occurred these past 5-days (and have been trying to heal by icing.) Consistent Icing for 3-days has definitely helped, but my ankle was still very weak, and I was limping around with some strategic pain. I believe the compression sock has helped strengthen my ankle area (and my limping is now much less by day 5), and I will continue wearing for next few days. I make sure to take the sock off late at night, before I go to bed, to give my foot a rest until morning. The fabric is quality and I like the vibrant green color. I started having ankle pain, Achilles tendinitis and arthritis from an old fracture. Went to the podiatrist and he gave me the first brace. It felt too small. I bought another “one size fits all” on Amazon. It to felt to small. I measured and ordered a large. It is so comfortable! I ordered another set. They are nice, but way too thick. I can't imagine wearing them under or over a sock. I'll probably just use them at home barefoot. I prefer KEMFORD Ankle Compression. They work well and fit nicely under socks.

I broke my left ankle in February of last year. Though its healed, I was having LOTS of problems with muscle and tendon pain. I bought a pair of the Modvel knee sleeves weeks before and was really impressed with them, so I ordered these, and let me tell you, they've been a godsend. Since I've started using the ankle sleeves: the swelling has gone down, and the compression helps keep my ankle joint from rolling all over the place, is helping my muscles stabilize. I wore these under my steel toes work boots and socks. It was too tight, I had to remove it towards the beginning of my work day. But very sturdy and helps with my sprained ankle. Not super thick, but I got the size recommended and it was pretty snug.
