I have tried sooooo many ankle compression sleeves trying to find the right one for various reasons: comfort, support, compression, reduce swelling and pain, fit inside shoe comfortably, not adding pain to my problem with seams and straps, etc. The feel of the material is like none other, the hem that goes around the arch of the foot is thin and soft yet durable so you are not having that feeling of walking on it adding irritation or pain, the compression is excellent without feeling too constrictive like it’s cutting off circulation as well. The top hem/band lays nicely and doesn’t cut into my leg making it comfortable for all day wear. It stays in place, It’s breathable and you can wear it when resting as well which I liked. I recently tried Bauerfeind & Sleeve Stars ,they were uncomfortable and many others with and without straps. Modvel hands down has brought down my swelling in one day, I have Peroneal Tendonitis I am currently being treated for. I have had issues with my foot and ankle on and off for years. This a a great ankle brace, very good support for Achilles tendinitis, reduces pain and swelling and discomfort and allows for normal walking rather than limping. I have very small feet and ankles, ordered the small and have ordered a second pair. They have adequate compression, do not slide or shift on your foot, stay in place. Work great. Easy to put on. Put on straps like seller suggested. My husband then puts on his regular crew socks over them. Works great for extra support while playing tennis or walks. He has weak ankles so this gives him added support and he says they are comfortable.

I have purchased several of these over the past couple of years; I have them in 3 colors. When my foot collapsed leaving me with great pain I found these; I purchased some other similar braces but these were the best quality and fit. If you select the right size they are very effective. I still wear one every day to keep my ankle stable to ease pain from my foot. My ankle use to swell but no more with the compression. When I opened the package I pulled out the ankle supports and some straps. I looked for instructions but there weren't any. I went to their website and couldn't find instructions there either but I found a picture of someone wearing the ankle brace and found that I had put it on wrong. I needed to spin it around so that the circle with stripes in it was facing forward. I sent an email asking for instructions so that I would know how I was supposed to wrap my ankle with the strap. Someone replied almost immediately and was willing to help any way they could. They included a link to a video that showed exactly what I needed. They appologised for the trouble and offered to help if I had any other questions or concerns. This seems to be a very reputable company and wants customer satisfaction with their products. This is the exact opposite experience I had with a Powerlix ankle brace I bought. The brace does seem to help. I think the strap adds support and contributes to the support. It is very comfortable to wear. I had worn another ankle support before that had an open heel and it was tight and cut into my arch which was very uncomfortable.
