Love the price and the look. They do give off decent light, but I used them in a bathroom where brighter overhead lights are needed. They are adequate for use, but won't give off the brightness desired. In checking the lumeness on other more expensive options, I think this style of light is difficult to find ultra-bright I see these as great for ambient light outside in a covered area or in a hallway, or as reading lights above a night stand. But for the price, I couldn't beat them. Really if I wasn't in such an old home that required modern LED lights mounted overhead (to avoid shadows) I probably wouldn't have anything negative to state. ... show more

Turns out I only needed one of these, kept the other one as a backup. It has built in LED light, so when it burns out, it’s out. The light is bluish daylight color, not evening yellowish tint, which is not ideal for a bedroom. Due to built in LED, light cannot be changed or adjusted. I put these in our hotel and they are working great! Very bright, beautiful white light, easy to hardwire to standard 110v circuit. Only downfall is they don't dim, again they are very bright! Going strong for a month now and counting. Very happy, Highly recommended.
