I also love that I still have lighting if the power goes out. The media could not be loaded. While getting a new roof, we decided to cover two of three ceiling skylights. I decided I wanted the look of recessed lighting but didn't have electricity installed for wired lights. These lights are perfect! The cord can be cut to your desired length. I did not need the longer pendulum lights but I am sure that look would be just as good in the right space. The different colors of lights are fun, but I plan to stay with the warm or cool white settings. I ordered "white" and the glass bowl is clear with black speckles. I thought the lights may be too small for the empty space (22 inches wide), but they are not. They were easy to install...Plan on 30-40 minutes for 2 lights, including measuring. Installing the larger rechargeable light bulb is a bit awkward for people with larger hands, but not overly difficult. NOTE: Two lights are not bright enough to light an entire room. I wanted accent lighting in conjunction with a wired ceiling light fixture, so they are perfect for my space. I did a lengthy search for battery operated lighting and I am very pleased with this high-quality lighting option. ... show more

So lovely and I don’t have to mess with cutting drywall or hard-wiring. I bought extra rechargeable light bulbs to rotate out since the ones that come with the pendants won’t last terribly long before needing a recharge.

The light is very pretty but how in the world do you remove the bulb to charge it?? The opening is too small to reach in and unscrew the bulb! To install the bulb you basically have to drop it into the opening and then squeeze your hand in to screw it in place.

These blown glass lights are stunning. They were super easy to install. No one would ever tell they are not hardwired except maybe that you can’t use higher wattage bulbs. I didn’t end up cutting the wire but just wound the excess up inside the ceiling mount in case we ever move and need a longer length. Love that they dim and the color is adjustable from cool to warm. Absolutely love it! I did use a different rechargeable light for a warmer less led broken up light but will use the one it came with if I ever want fun colors! But perfect for what we need since there was no lighting over the wet bar.
