It was very hard to put together and took a long time but I had some help and made the doors look even with each other after many attempts. Worth it. This cabinet came well-packaged and is a great addition to our living room. There was a slight smell as other reviewers have mentioned - I’m assuming from the paint. We left the doors open and cracked a window to air it out over-night and the smell has dissipated. As for assembly, there are a lot of steps and it took us an hour or two to assemble bit the instructions weren’t overly complicated and it’s worth it for the price and value.
