I’ve always wanted a gazebo, and I just poured over the options until we finally picked this one. I liked that there was a metal roof and I chose it because of the wood grain. I like the look of wood, but I knew metal would just be more durable than a wood gazebo. Anyway, I love this thing a stupid amount. Our back patio has zero shade. We have a really nice back garden, but I could never enjoy it because it was too hot back here, it gets full sun all day long. I’m just so happy with this thing that I’m barely ever inside my house anymore. The wood grain looks real and this structure is nice and sturdy. I read somewhere that 2 people could put this together in 5-7 hours. I guess take that with a grain of salt. My husband and I work really well together (read as, no arguing, we’re efficient and have experience building things) and it took us somewhere around 12 hours. The instructions are understandable but there are a whole lot of parts. My husband was the installer and I was the parts person. It’s really hard to have two people installing, because you really have to build in a specific order, so we thought this was the most efficient way. He was on the ladder installing, I read instructions, grabbed the pieces he needed next and supplied the hardware to install. This division of duties was pretty efficient for us and it still took a while. I also took a little extra time to separate the parts, rather than leaving them in the box. (I.e. I put all the Ls, together, all the Ns in a separate pile, all the Gs together etc etc) It was just too messy when the instructions said “look in box 2 for L3. It was just easier to have all the Ls in one spot, already unwrapped and ready to go. Also, we got solo cups, labeled them, and put all of the hardware in their own cup. It kept us from having to pry screws and washers out of those bubble packages, and labeled solo cups made it easy to just reach and grab what we’d need. Hopefully that makes sense. I included a pic showing all the hardware separated out. It’s 100% worth it and looks great. We love it.

Product comes in 5 boxes. 1 thru 5. And they will probably an arrive in 2 shipments via UPS. Gazebo is a very good value for function and looks. But it will require some copious reading of instructions for proper assembly.

I Definitely recommend it 100 % , first Excellent quality, good price and very elegant. Our patio looks great, we are very happy. Excellent and very professional Customer service . Only recommend that you be patient, assembly is easy but it will take you about 8 hours or more , but all the parts are of quality and excellent durable . Recommended!

This gazebo from modern shade is amazing! We bought the 12 x 20 hard top. It is sturdy, and provides great amount of shade. The hook to hang stuff is sturdy also. It does take 2 or more people to put together, and comes with a lot of parts. So worth the money. I will definitely spread the word about this gazebo!

This is a beautiful gazebo. I am praying it stands up to the winds as advertised. My only criticism is that the instructions are absolutely awful. I would have appreciated a complete video to watch, although written they are not intuitive and it took three of us all day to put up.

Solid structure and feels really sturdy once set up. The wood-look posts give it a premium feel and it makes the whole backyard look more put together. I especially love the solar LED lights on the corners – they turn on automatically at night and look really pretty, giving off a soft, warm glow. Perfect for relaxing in the evening and makes the space feel cozy and inviting. Great quality and looks even better in person.
