Not gonna lie, the wiring on this was a nightmare for my blue collar helpers. BUT! I AM IN CONSTANT AWE OF THIS CHADELIER! It gets so many compliments and I gaze at it like a work of art. It is a statement piece. I opted not to use all of the extra draping of the jewels (mainly because we were focused on getting it up in time for Thanksgiving last year) and it still looks "full bodied". For the bulbs, I am using: Dimmable E12 Candelabra LED 40W Equivalent 2700K Soft Warm White Now, I just need to find something for my island in the kitchen that won't clash with it as well as the other surrounding elements. I would definitely recommend this purchase! I replaced a ceiling fan with this Chandelier and the pictures does not do it Justice! It is absolutely STUNNING! There are many pieces to put together though so it may cost more to put it together and hang it if you’re not doing it yourself!

    • Live and neutral wires come wired incorrectly.

Had an electrician assemble the chandelier, he explained that the wire that comes pre-assembled in the bulb socket aren’t accurate. The live wire is supposed to be the connector in the center bottom of each lightbulb socket. The neutral is the connector on the side wall of the lightbulb socket. This is necessary so when you unscrew a lightbulb, the live connected breaks first and you don’t run the risk of being shocked. On this chandelier some of the lives were connected properly to the center connector and some had the live wire connected to the side connector. He correctly wired the lettered live lines together as instructions say. When he was checking connections with multimeter he discovered that they were wired incorrectly from the manufacturer. If he continued to connect the wires as instructed in the directions, it would leave me vulnerable to electric shock from some bulb sockets when changing bulbs. It’s a beautiful chandelier but not happy with the idea that I could have been shocked when changing lightbulbs. ... show more
