I’ve had this, in a beach house great room, for three years, and it’s highly functional: base rock color-change & brightness, “projected rear screen “flames” color change/height adjustable, heat blower (if you want to use this function) has 3 speeds and a thermostat, so you can set its temperature, easy to assemble (and takes MINIMAL DEPTH..only that of a wall’s 2x4 support!), the color choices are complete, it was a great value versus buying the same unit at a local store (acLOT less $)…not truly realistic, but these types of units do the best that they can.
