It came unassembled in the box but was fairly easy to put together ( I am a mom and a nurse learning to do renovations on the fly). I’ve hung three lights now and this one had good instructions, it did take me 2 hours start to finish, including 20 min instructional YouTube video. This fixture looks amazing and changes the whole look of the room. It does come disassembled so you need to put the cables through the posts and then screw the pieces together but it's easy if you follow the instructions which are very clear. It is very nice and easy to put together. I have it hanging over a double bed and it is a little big for the bed. So with that I would suggest getting a chandelier a few inches shorter in width. Got this for my foyer. I love it. Fairly easy to install; I did it myself. My only complaint is that the bulbs aren't flush with the black rod. The silver base of the bulb sticks out some. I revisited the pictures from other reviews and the listing itself and saw that's just how it goes. A little annoying to me but I will look past it.
