The light is modern, slimline, good looking. There are 3 color temps switchable on the light. But it is VERY bright and the only way to dim it is by wall switch. I can't install a dimmer switch in my old box.

UPDATE: The seller reached out and was able to provide a replacement. As stated below, the product works great but be careful to remove the shade once it is installed. The product looks great an functions well. No issues with this product until it came time to remove the acrylic shade... The cut of the shade is just slightly too large in diameter to squeeze out of the light once installed. This caused a cracked edge on the shade when trying to remove the shade to adjust the light underneath. I am unable to reach the seller, which means I am now stuck with a light without a shade. I would love to replace with a spare shade but can not find any offered by the seller. Bummer, I wanted to love this product. If the seller sees this, please direct me to how I can purchase a replacement shade. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Why do i keep buying things from China - clearly NOT dimmable even though it’s in the description. It flashes several times before going on and staying on. So dumb!

Low profile, this light made the room look a little bigger by replacing a black and frosted glass fixture. We are using it at the top of the staircase. It has four settings to select what color light you prefer as your defacto. It is bright, but we quite prefer the brightness of this in the hallway to the darker light we previously had. At this time, we have decided against installing a dimmer with it. Depending on where you install this light, you may want a dimmer (easy enough add on.) It seemed really bright when first installed but once we saw it in daylight and for a few days, we really liked that it is bright in this area.
