I've never tried acrylic nails before (applying myself, or even applied by someone else on me), but I've been interested to learn. I've been watching some videos on YouTube, to learn the basics, and I figured if I got a beginner's kit, it would help me with a good starting point. First, when the box arrived, I could already smell the acrylic liquid (monomer) before I even opened it. The box didn't appear to be water damaged, and after opening it, I found the bottle to be well sealed, but it was still emanating a very strong smell, before opening the seal of the bottle. (And after you've opened it? Wow. It lingers in the air for HOURS after you've finished playing with it.) The box seemed a little small to me, after viewing the product page, but they fit a lot of things into a fairly small box! (The first image of the product page is currently showing double the items, for some reason, but there are other images that list all of the items correctly.) I had been expecting the monomer bottle to be larger, but it should be good enough to start with. (And maybe I can replace it with one with less of a smell, after I run low.) There is a little instruction booklet included, but it's more of a guide/suggestions rather than a How To instruction. I'd recommend YouTube, to find actual tutorials, if you're also a beginner. One other thing I'd really recommend, is not practicing on yourself (or another person) first. I like that they included a practice finger, although I'm not sure what you're supposed to use as the practice nail. Maybe some of the the tips provided? It took me a few tries to get the basic strategy down, and I think I'll need to practice a bit more (especially with filing/ shaping) before I feel confident switching to a living subject. I do really like the glitter product, though! It wasn't entirely clear to me how to use it (it almost seems to bead up on its own? But not very well. And dipping in the color after gathering an initial bead of the normal powder seemed dangerous), but I ended up mixing some of it with some of the clear powder, in another container, and it worked great! (Use a container you don't care much about, in case you get too much monomer in it, because you mixed too little powder, and it solidifies in the container, never to be moved again...) Overall, this is a great little kit to get your feet wet in the (stinky) acrylic world! I'm excited to play with it some more and perfect my technique (near an open window).

Easy to use when you practice and master the powder to liquid ratio. Value is worth it. I will say the smell of the liquid is beyond strong for me and fills the house. Need to buy a drill rather than nail files bc takes too long

I love nail kits. So when I saw this Glamonade Acrylic Nail Kit , I had to get it. It has everything I need for a perfect set of nails. Im definitely a beginner when it comes to nails but this kit makes it so much easier. I’ve been wanting to learn how to make acrylic flowers & design nails different ways & I now have the tools to do it. It also comes with a user manual to explain how to use all the products in the kit. The only thing is that it shows it comes with 3 nail brushes on the product page but mine only came with 2 brushes & a cuticle nipper. For the price it is at the time of this review, I would Highly Recommend!! 5 Stars★★★★★

This is an excellent all-in-one set for learning how to do nails, or getting everything at a great price if you already know how to do them. This is one of the best values I've seen for the amount and quality of products that you get -- if you bought each of these items individually, you would spend significantly more. Each of the items works as intended and I was able to make a great set of acrylic nails on the first try using this set.

This is a great set that will let you give acrylic nails a try without a large investment. Everything needed to get started is included in this kit, and the quality of the items is pretty good. It's worth noting that there are only two brushes included here, not three as indicated in one of the product photos (the other photos correctly show two brushes). This is definitely something I'd recommend for anyone who wants to give acrylic nails a go, and it's a good value at the current price of around seventeen bucks.
