I love everything about this ceiling fan, it really exceeded my expectations. I had a standard-sized fan in my smallish guitar room and more than once I'd knocked a guitar neck into a fan blade. This low-profile fan is exactly what I needed in this space. It hugs the ceiling and extends down about four inches. Installation was a breeze (pun intended), just three wires - no additional work for any of the advanced features, they're all built-in. It's made of plastic and it's lightweight - once installed it isn't going anywhere. I was a bit concerned about running wires through the mounting cage. The metal cage doesn't have a dedicated pass-thru and the largest openings had sharp edges. Without a grommet, I decided to file down the sharp edges and also wrapped my wiring with heat shrink to avoid the possibility of wires shorting out. Installing the fan took about 30 minutes total. The included remote control is great - plus it comes paired to the unit, so you simply turn the power on, press the connect button on the remote and you're done. There are a variety of buttons too - a separate button for each fan speed - meaning you don't have to cycle through 1,2,3,4 just to get to 5. That's nice. Also separate buttons for light color (from a warm yellowish to a bright daylight), and separate buttons as well for brightness. Really well-thought out remote, especially at this price. The fan is surprising powerful. On the highest speed (6) it blows papers off my desk. The light is bright enough that I'd say it could serve as the only light say in a bedroom or small office. This is a perfect fan for my situation: super low-profile; powerful; bright; with a great remote.. I love it! Recommend.

Controller easily lets you change color to what you want more yellow or daylight which is ideal for a kitchen where you might want bright daylight for cutting and cooking and later to change mood something more calming. Airflow is fantastic even at low setting. Why do I reduce one star? Bulbs don't seem to be able to be changed so when the LED lights go bad - and that might be or might not be a long time - you have to replace whole fan or go without lights. It is also made from a very light and cheap feeling plastic but it is great at what it does and looks nice in my kitchen which has ceilings too low for typical fans so I am really glad I got this. Just tip to seller - next time make it so you can change bulbs and a bit higher quality on the build.

This white/clear low profile ceiling fan is pretty great. It arrives in a cardboard box with the fan basically fully assembled inside. It also includes instructions and some minor mounting hardware. The low profile of this is what makes it a bit more annoying to hang and mount, in my opinion as there is less room to work with at the ceiling. However, after it is mounted, it looks exactly as they show in the listing pictures as far as the colors and design goes. The remote control is easy to use and has 6 speeds which is enough for my area that I put this in. The light is also good enough as it is bright but not completely illuminating the entire room. The wind that you feel is mostly directly under the fan but you can feel it out around the sides as it does stir up a good amount of air, especially at the higher speeds. Overall, great fan that looks like they show in the pictures. The remote control is great and the 6 speeds along with different white color temperatures is also great.

Waiting for electrician to install this but wanted to give my initial impression. The unit is lightweight , but well constructed. It has a low profile and sits close to the ceiling. Mounting is simple as long as you have a standard electrical box in the ceiling. Two screws hold the cross bar in place, while a cable tether supports the light and allows you to connect wiring. The provided remote controls fan speed, light brightness and color and provides a timer function. Updates as soon as this is hung.

So across-the-board every single fan like this, I’ve tried, including this one has been excellent for its size and light output. I’m putting ceiling fans in places I would not normally have thought to. My upstairs hallway gets really hot because only the surrounding bedrooms have vents as it reaches the end. So hallway light gone and replaced with a beautiful ceiling fan. These have a great low profile. And they look pretty. The crystal clear fan blades are nearly invisible. I really enjoy the high-speed fan, and these things are even better in tandem like two across a wide living room.

I installed this low profile ceiling fan in my craft room so that I would have light and air movement. It was not hard to install and I like that it comes with a remote control or you can download an app to control this fan and its features. It has a decent amount of air movement but of course it doesn't compare to a 42 inch traditional fan.

The design of this ceiling fan allows it to be used on lower ceiling and is higher on standard 8 foot ceilings. These characteristics make the fan much more safe than standard fans that reach a foot below the ceiling. This fan will be a little harder to clean. Overall, this fan is classy and does not crowd a room. It is a good addition to any room.
