I bought this for my son’s room and I’m jealous! Love the accessibility of the remote, changing of color temp and brightness and the fan is a nice little fan. I didn’t think it would be as strong as it is. His room is fairly small so I feel like with a bigger room the fan might struggle reaching more space but it’s perfect for his room.

The ceiling fan came packaged in custom foam with the parts necessary for installation, which were very few. In addition to the unit itself, also included were a mounting bracket and two screws (should have been four but more on that later) for attaching the ceiling fan to it. I was replacing an old ceiling fan with this one, which made installation a little easier. After removing the old fan, I had a couple long bolts that remained in the ceiling gang box. This provided a good mounting point for the new bracket. I simply fed the two bolts through the new bracket and replaced the nuts that had been holding the old bracket on, tightening them down. Once this was accomplished, I used a metal S hook that I already had in my supplies to hold the new ceiling fan fixture to the bracket while I worked on the wiring. I have used this trick in the past with ceiling fixtures, and it always works very well. I was impressed to discover that this unit has a braided steel lanyard already attached to it. The other end of this lanyard cable feeds back to itself where it is secured by a clamp, forming a loop. This loop is attached to a small clip that comes already secured to the mounting bracket. This lanyard keeps the fixture from falling from the ceiling if it breaks free from the mount. There is just enough room in the base of the fixture for all of the wiring, lanyard, and a large receiving unit for the remote control. Attaching the fan fixture to the mount became a little tricky because there’s not a lot of room between the light/fan and the ceiling. What I did was use a long magnetized screwdriver to feed the screws in between the ceiling and the light to reach the smaller diameter base. This brings us to a rather annoying fact about the hardware that came with the unit. The bracket has four threaded holes perpendicular from each other to accept the screws for mounting the fixture to the bracket. The fixture base has four corresponding holes that lineup with the ones I just described. Given this four hole design, I find it extremely annoying that only two screws were included to mount the fixture to the bracket. This very much feels like skimping out to me, given how cheap screws are these days. Anyway, once I got the fixture installed everything worked great. I decided not to use the app because all the functions can be accessed through the remote control. The remote, which comes with a small holster which can be attached to the wall, controls all the features of the ceiling fan. Not only can the remote turn the light and fan on or off separately, but it also allows you to adjust the speed and direction of the fan as well as the brightness and temperature of the light. The unit also has a built-in two hour timer, nightlight feature, natural breeze mode, and quick access to three different color temp settings. I think this is a great fan with useful features.

I bought this for my rental that has low ceilings. I couldn’t be more pleased with with light and ceilings fan. It’s has various speeds and u can use just the light or just the fan or both. The light can be dimmed. I’m thinking about getting another one for the other room. It was easy to install too.

The media could not be loaded. We replaced our kids large ceiling fans with these due to them getting bunk beds and being too close to the blades of the fan. This is a great, safe solution for us. They get very bright and can be dimmed which is nice.
