First time ever doing dip nails. And look!! They turned out pretty nice. Very shiny and sparkly. My complaint is the step 3 once you put the top coat on. The brush gets very hard. Luckily they give you two more brushes. I just soaked mine in acetone to loosen it up. Excited to see how long this lasts. I decided to try dip because my nails are brittle. They peel and tear easily even with regular polish. This dip makes my nails very hard. I did two coats of dip. Two coats of topcoat. Dries way quicker than regular polish. For the price, buy it 100%!!!!

I had my nails dipped at the salon. They felt heavy and began lifting after the first week. They also damaged my nails which surprised me because I was told dip is the least damaging. I bought this kit because the salon wasn't for me. This was my first time and it was so easy and quick. It probably helped that I had mine done professionally and I was able to watch and learn. It comes with instructions, which were simple. The first layer was the more pink color and the second layer was the glitter. I did not do a third layer. I cannot comment on the longevity, but I will say my nails are split, peeled, cracked, and disgusting under this dip and you cannot tell. They're nice and hard and strong so I won't worry about the splits and cracks ripping my nail off, literally. I bought a drill and cleaned up any mess. It made the skin around my nails smooth. So, definitely get a drill if you don't have one. I put cuticle oil on and some lotion for aftercare.

The activator bottle was nearly empty when I opened it. I was able to complete 7 nails but the last 3 turned out awful because the bottle was empty! You can see in the picture that the nail on the left turned out fine, but the two to the right did not. So now I have to either go pay a salon to fix my full set or wait a week to get a replacement product. The company would not give me a refund, despite the kit having a nearly empty bottle.

Overall, I think it’s a great kit for the cost for beginners. Bottles are labeled clearly, and directions are clear. My only issue, a few of the brushes, particularly with the top coat bottle, just a few seconds in the air going from bottle to nail, the brush hardened. I tried again with an older paint brush, and it did the same thing. It’s very fast drying once applied, but also fast drying on the brush. (Shine is from my cuticle oil, the top coat also gives a nice shine)

Love this dip stuff! It doesn't stay on for me quite as long as it says because I'm pretty tough on nails, but I can usually get 7-10 days out of it. There's a bit of a learning curve figuring out the best application method (which I'm still working on), but overall, I still think it's a really good product. The teal/blue color is more of a sky blue in person, not quite as teal as their photos make it look. The other colors are incredible! (The blue isn't bad, just not exactly what I was expecting.
