I can use this over tips and you can’t see a bump at all. I can also use it on my tiny little bitten nails and they look fine. The glitter is very forgiving so you don’t notice if it’s a little lumpy… the solid will take some practice. While the steps take time, it doesn’t take as long as I expected. It’s VERY hard to soak off after curing. It’s wonderful to be able to do this and not have to worry about them popping off or the paint scraping off. So far I only like the pink glitters.. hopefully with practice, I’ll like the solid colors too.

Recently started doing my own powder dip manis & was really overwhelmed by all brands & options. I finally settled on Modelones & I’m glad I did. This kit contains just about everything you need: buffer & good file (100/180 grit) for nail prep, good liquids (base, activator & top coat) & cuticle oil. Pros Good instructions Great assortment of colors Quality liquids Cons There no cuticle remover product, just a couple of the small pushers. Cuticle oil container didn’t work so I never tried it. Bottles of dip powder are numbered, but I have yet to find a list actual color names and can’t find the colors on the Modelones website if I wanted to order more. At least one of them is color changing, was not expecting that 😅. This info should be available.

As a mom of 5 daughters I can’t see paying $95 for a set of artificial nails. I bought a $10 Modelones kit to use on my natural nails about 2 months ago to try them out. After a week with them on I was paged out to a fire covering a few acres in the country. After 4 hours of fighting the fire I went home and figured my nails would be done for. The ends were a little worn down from the work like any other nails would do, but they were good enough that I filed the ends then added a shiny top coat and they looked beautiful again. I was completely sold on them. I bought nail tips and this kit and absolutely love the colors and quality! Filling them is easy and takes maybe 10-15 minutes. A full set takes me maybe 30 minutes to apply tips, dip, filing and everything. Now my older 3 daughters want their nails done by Mama too. If you’re hesitant, don’t be. Watch a YouTube video on it then do your nails. You won’t regret it. I absolutely love mine!! I’d give this kit 10 stars if I could. The only thing I’d suggest is if you like them extra shiny is to get a shiny top coat like “Olive & June super glossy top coat” and apply it before you add the cuticle oil at the end.

First, I would like to start by saying, I'm not a professional so please ignore the technique of the nails. I gave it 3 stars because I wish the jars were bigger. The colors are a 5/5. I noticed when doing dip, you want to dip your nails and not pour the powder over the nail because it takes on more powder/color. That being said, it's hard to find ones that you can just dip in and not pour over, so dipping your nail in the container requires you to dump about half of it out. This can cause you to lose a bit of the powder. The glue brush for the base doesn't stay soft. In all honesty, the only thing I use from this kit is the colors and the rest are from somewhere else. I figured out that the ombre looking colors on the picture are temperature changing. When your nails/hands are in the cold, they go to the darker purple. When they are warm the stay that lighter purple. This is #16 that I have on.

Finally bought my first powder dip kit and went with the A2 I believe. I do not care for the nail salon, but I enjoyed having that extra protection for my nails and their length. This stuff was very easy to apply, use and so far durable as I’m not very easy going on my hands. I already have 2 other of their kits on the way and some nail swatches to practice different dip techniques to get ready for the holidays.
