The mobility scooter arrived in a large and heavy box. I was excited to receive such a fantastic lightweight, foldable mobility scooter, which runs on batteries that are rechargeable and perfect for adult and seniors. The scooter is very simple to drive with simple levers to operate it. The control panel is very simple and intuitive which includes a horn and LED light switch speed controller and lock switch, it’s simplicity is ideal for the elderly so operating the scooter is as easy as 123. The handlebar makes it very simple to turn and maneuver the scooter around, the right lever is to make it go forward while the left one is for reverse. It’s very simple to operate and even people who have no driving experience can easily operate a scooter. It also came with a bag on which personal items can be placed, such as a wallet, shopping goods, umbrella, water bottle, etc. The seat can turn all around, and it is built solidly. The things such as the seat and the handlebar can be detached or folded in order to place the scooter inside the trunk of a car. The scooter is about 65 pounds heavy while it can hold weight of the rider of up to 265 pounds. The wheels are large enough to handle rough terrain and is perfect for driving on uneven surfaces. The scooter is very narrow less than 2 feet wide, which makes it to fit easily in narrow places while it’s turned radius is 27 inches which makes the scooter very easy to maneuver in tight spaces. The tires are explosion proof and quite large I was glad to find a dust and rainproof cover that can be used if the scooter is left in the open to protect it from rainwater and the sun, the scooter came almost fully assembled, so it did not take me more than a few minutes to complete the installation. What I notice is that this is scooter is offered at much lower price than its other counterparts, which makes it a very good buy and great value for the money. The battery lasts for up to 16 miles and the scooter can drive with a maximum speed of about 4 mph. It’s roughly the same as a person’s walking speed. I haven’t tried the range yet. The manual is quite simple and easy to understand.

This is overall a very good basic scooter. The battery size is good and should be more than enough for the average user. The battery, bring li-ion, is much better and lighter than the old lead acid batteries. It will last longer and give more constant power. The following critiques would not stop be from buying this scooter but I do want to make them clear. 1. there is only a single motor. The motor is small and likely the reason the weight limit is only 265lbs. 2. the throttle response is delayed. There is a clear and noticeable delay between when you first push the throttle and when the scooter starts to move. This is a flaw in the motor controller design. If throttle is partially applied, the response to any additional throttle is instant. 3. The chair is not affixed to the scooter. It just sits atop the post with a center pin. It is possible, but unlikely, that the chair could separate from the scooter during use. 4. The handle bar cannot fully lower for transport because the post gets in the way ( see picture). 5. The horn is not a horn, just an annoying peep. 6. This is for on-road use only and likely will not do great in a constantly wet environment. The controller on the bottom is not waterproof and the connectors are not sealed.
