This is a pretty good item but it doesn't quite make it to 5 stars. Understand that I just got the thing and it works well so far but I cannot tell you about endurance. Seems plenty strong and sturdy. Overkill for most use around a house with a more regular hand truck being the better choice for most of us. My back has taken a bit of a beating over the years so I mostly got this for moving sheets of heavy plywood and such - the ability to get things up high means I can pretty much slide and re-orient a sheet of plywood out of the bed of my truck onto this unit, put some additional weight onto the platform/sheet to make sure it stays on and the slide it onto the Bora Centipede to break down the sheet of plywood. If I could get a cart the right size and height that might be better but I'm about getting the 36" height. so those are not common. Now for a bit of a complaint. A good bit of the reason to get this instead of the cart is because this unit is "foldable". I'm not sure I'd say that it is really foldable but rather that you can do a minimal disassembly and then fold the thing. That is not a very big problem but people need to be aware of that since if they have problems getting down low to remove the cotter pins and then the pins out in order to fold the thing then they may not be all that happy with this unit. Packaging was problematic. The box took a beating on the way here and I'm in-state. I'm not so sure how they were supposed to be packaged but two cotter pins to hold the shaft actually fell out. Fortunately the cotter pins fell out at my doorstep so I'm not missing the pieces but they could easily have fallen out elsewhere. Nothing was damaged so you would notice and the packaging was fairly robust so the problem may have been more the shipping service(s) rather than those who packaged it in the first place? As should be expected, the assembly instructions are pretty bad. Yes, unlike some I did get something but it consists of small diagrams and you might want a magnifying glass to get a good look at some of it - and that may not be enough. Fortunately it really isn't all that hard to put together right if you have some experience but I know people who probably would have had trouble with it. I don't like the tiny casters in front. That they are tiny was evident before the purchase so this is not a complaint but something to consider if purchasing. I want to use it on grass and gravel at times so I may pursue finding larger casters to put on the thing. But the unit was really made for use on hard, smooth surfaces so when used as intended those casters are, I think, adequate. Oh, and another comment which should not be considered bad but should be a consideration when you consider purchasing. It's heavy. So if you, like me, are getting this thing so that you are not manually lifting heavy weights you should consider that IIRC the listed weight is 100 pounds and certainly is recommended for a team lift. I used a good hand truck and was OK with the transport and assembly but for some this might not work out well. It would be nice if it were lighter but then it also would not likely be able to safely lift 200 kilograms. So the point is that the unit has to be robust to handle the weight for which it is rated - and that means the unit itself is going to be heavy. I do not regret the purchase. One other thing? If others want to get this for hauling plywood around? I am considering either buying or building some sort of pallet. Put the pallet on the lift. Put the sheet of plywood on the pallet. It would be a more stable way to move the plywood.
