This mattress is softer than others and super comfortable. It expanded quickly, I would say within a few minutes and was ready to go. I didn't notice any bad odor upon opening. The media could not be loaded. It's wonderful having like a brand new whole bed with this Mlily Green Tea 8 inch mattress topper. I do wish it had come with big elastic supports on the corners or something, to attach it better to the bottom teensy tiny mattress that I have. I wasn't sure if I should put this right on the bed frame, as it were, for this metal bunk bed that I sleep on. But most foam mattress pads have some sort of method to keep them from sliding around, or if not, then they should. So I'm surprised but mine's already sliding off even though it's so big and now I'll have to spend a hard time pushing it back on to the bed, against the wall. It has a nice cover it came out of the box and unrolled easily and wasn't a problem in that regard it seemed like it was puffy already but I waited several hours to get on it anyway There were no directions that I saw, but I put the all white part on top. No funky smell. It's a great deal more firm than I'm used to for my foam pads also. Of course ,I've never gotten one this thick. I didn't even notice that it said medium firm. To be honest it feels kind of like a normal mattress in that respect because it's so firm. But my posterior portion is more comfortable when having to sit on it up for a long while working. Although my sciatica on my left hip did act up when I had to sleep on that side for a while. So I don't know, maybe I'll have to try a super soft foam mattress cover for on top of this one.

The biggest downside for this mattress is the 8" thickness. Its not terrible or tiny or anything. It feels like a normal bed. The relatively thin thickness makes me worry about its long-term survival. I had another memory foam style mattress and after a few years, it starts to get an imprint of me in the bed. Trying to sleep anywhere but the divot was uncomfortable, and it was about the same thickness as this mattress. Other than that, it sleeps well, is cool and comfortable, and overall rather enjoyable! If you're on a budget or setting up a spare bedroom or need it for a kid, I feel this mattress will do fine for those purpose. For an adult, or a main bedroom, I have my worries about its long-term usage.

This is the most comfortable mattress pad we’ve ever owned! My husband works construction, and is always complaining of back pain when he gets home after a long day, I wanted to get something we could use on our mattress that would provide extra support for him, so that hopefully it would help him feel a little better when he awoke in the mornings. This memory foam mattress did not disappoint! Although it felt a little firm at first, my husband sank right into it, and immediately let out a sigh of relief and kept telling us how amazing it felt on his back. It’s been awhile now since we purchased this mattress topper and he’s no longer waking up with back pain! He wakes up refreshed and ready to start his day. I’m truly amazed at what this has done for him. For me, I can honestly say I sleep much deeper at night since putting this on our bed. It’s been amazing to say the least. Well worth every penny! Highly recommend you give this a try!

This bed became an upgrade to one of our growing children, and so far, she loves it. She moved up from a twin and having the extra room a full size provides gives her plenty of space to stretch out or fit a dog to cuddle with. The bed took a few days to fully spring out, and it did have an odd smell at first but that lasted only a few days at best. So far, she hasn't complained of any aches and seems to awake rested. I can't comment on the cooling aspect, however she does say she sleeps comfortably.
