It took us 1.25hr to put it together. The instructions did not jive with what was in the package. The back plate went all the way in but the fabric did not reach the bottom to allow the Velcro to hold it together. This ended up being much smaller than anticipated. When I contacted the company and told them of my unhappiness with the couch they handled the matter very successfully in a way that I was quite satisfied with.

Not sure why other people had issues. I assembled it in 20 min. Exactly as described. Can’t find something wrong if I tried, and believe me I did! Bout $500 cheaper than everything else I found to these specifications! Very happy!

Item came in two packages two days apart, so be patient. Item is comfortable to sit on, the bed is a very hard mattress but you do not feel the bars below (a plus). We shall see how durable it is. color is as expected.
