Water heater is awesome! We installed it and have never looked back! You won’t regret it! It will do the whole house if you get the 100,000 btu one! Cheap on propane! Also the vent pipe, don’t waste your time on the cheap plastic one. Get hard metal and use a 4” pipe. The heater is 3” but you can get a reducer 4”x3” and make the pipe 4 inch all the way out. Otherwise you will get a e8 error. Mine worked fine for a few months till I ran into this problem. The cheap plastic pipe melted and almost burned the house down. I used the metal pipe and it works amazing now! It doesn’t leak. It’s nice and solid on that point. With the noise, it’s super quiet with the 4” pipe. Almost don’t hear it running! You’ll be very happy with this and the company is wonderful and helpful! ... show more

    • Not worth the trouble
I'm experiencing multiple issues with this water heater. It heats up for about a minute before turning cold, requiring us to repeatedly switch it off and on. I noticed that another customer mentioned a similar issue in their review. Additionally, there is a noticeable delay in getting hot water to the faucets throughout my home, and the unit cannot support two people showering at the same time. This is already our second unit—the first one had an electrical issue and had to be returned. Unfortunately, this replacement is also not functioning properly. Given that this is a brand-new construction home, I expected better performance. At this point, I'm seriously considering requesting assistance or a refund. ... show more

It wasn't particularly easy for an amateur plumber like me (with suitable tools & Teflon tape!) to do the job, but I felt confident enough after looking at the instructions provided for the task. My old tank water heater had the water connections high & these tankless units have the connections low, so you have to get creative about how to do the water pipe hookup. It worked flawlessly from first use, and I hope it continues to do so. One is grateful that digital tankless water heaters (dial in the water temperature!) have gotten better compared to their first appearance a decade ago. ... show more

The initial water heater we received wasn’t working properly. We didn’t realize this until after our return window. We were able to get in touch with customer service. They were very responsive, gave us all the troubleshooting tips, and when that didn’t work, replaced the item for us. We haven’t installed the new one yet, but I’m not expecting any issues. The media could not be loaded. Shipping was very fast. It was packaged very well with no damage. The User Manual(s) were Included and are very good. I hooked up a temporary test situation and ran it through several cycles. My setpoint was 116 degrees F and the heater kept track pretty well no matter what the water flow rate was. After the water was turned off, the unit went through a cool off cycle. The heater draws 0.1 amps at idle and 0.25 amps while heating water. I have had two other instant hot water tanks before, this one the best. Easy install, do not need to take cover off, no batteries. Being electric makes the heater really smart, self adjusting for the most part. It adjusts itself based on Intake water temperature.
