Description

1. Is the game I want missing from the card? The game console does not include all emulator games. Please prepare your favorite game ROM and transplant it according to the instructions. 2. Some games cannot be opened or run? (1) Please make sure that your game is adapted to the Linux system. (2) Please restart and refresh the ROM. Since the system does not read or refresh the game ROM file, it will not be run. (3) Please replace the core processor, go to the RA emulator in the APP to change the core option, and try to open the game again. 3. Battery life? The power consumption will be different according to your operation. For example, running games that require high performance may speed up the motherboard and cause power consumption; high brightness consumes more power than low brightness, and it can generally be used for 4 to 6 hours. Due to software display problems, the use of the first three grids of the power display will disappear very quickly. The last grid of power is about 40% left, not completely gone. Remember to charge after using the last grid for a period of time. 4. There are bursting sounds and lines on the screen when the unit is turned on? This is normal because of the retro design of the system and will not affect the use. If you don’t like it or mind, please buy it with caution. 5. Button failure? Please turn on the "Hardware Teat" in the settings to see if the button can be used normally. If it can't, you could take off cover of the unit and adjust the button position. 6. Black screen during game? When playing games at low power, the unit will shut down and black screen in advance to save game data. Please charge in time. 7. Charging? It is recommended to use a 5V1.5A charger to charge the product after it arrives to avoid burning the motherboard and battery. If the red light does not light up during charging, please check whether the battery compartment is connected to the motherboard.

Sorry for the length of this review, but consider reading it all before purchasing one of these just so you know what you’re potentially getting into. I updated the review multiple times as things occurred to give you a proper look at my overall experience. Start at the bottom if you want to read it all. If not, the last edit will suffice. FURTHER EDIT: So, after a lot of ordering and returning, I decided to buy a cheap precision screwdriver set to try to get the one stripped screw out of the first MM+ I ordered before giving up on it. I’m glad I kept that unit while testing others because it’s been the best one I’ve received. The precision screwdriver did the trick, and I was able to easily switch out the buttons! I will be hanging onto my original device. That one screw is literally the only thing I’ve found to be wrong with it. It’s worked perfectly without any light bleed or dpad issues since I first opened it. Whew. Crisis averted. I still recommend grabbing one of these if you’re patient and enjoy tinkering. I put up with a little more inconvenience than I probably should’ve because I really wanted a MM+; its size and shape are just perfect. EDIT: I love this thing. After deciding to keep it for myself, I’ve taken a deep dive into the world of retro gaming, and I have been playing a wide variety of games, many of which I’m actually playing for the first time. I’m amazed by how entertaining old systems still are; they truly stand the test of time. This is a great deal, best bang for your buck if you install OnionOS which is free and easy to install. I’m still jealous of the overall look and feel of the RG35XX Pro, but I’m more than happy with the MM+. I hope to get lots of use out of it. Low price. Perfect size. Ease of set up and use is unmatched. Great beginner handheld. One gripe: QA seems a bit lacks. Can’t expect much considering the price I suppose. Ordered another MM+ after discovering the first one had a stripped screw while attempting to modify the buttons. This will make any modifications/fixes, like replacing the screen, essentially impossible if needed in the future; I’m glad I caught it early. The second unit had light bleed where the bottom of the screen meets the shell. I have ordered a third purple device in hopes of it being “the one.” If it doesn’t work out, I’ll just order a different color and hope for the best. 🫣 lots of ordering and returning, but I really want the MM+ to be my go-to handheld. Grrr. Just be aware that you may have to return and reorder depending on the unit you receive. Unfortunately, I may have to go without a Miyoo device if they continue sending imperfect ones. Quite frustrating since the MM+ is truly the perfect shape, size, and price. EDIT: Ended up buying an RG35XX Pro to compare to the MM+. Wowza. Spend the extra $13 for the Anbernic device if you’re not too worried about pocketability and want something which more closely resembles the original Game Boy Color. If you’re on the fence about buying this and have a few extra dollars to spend, check out the RG35XX Pro ($70 after tax) before you pull the trigger. It doesn’t come with a case, but that’s not really a big deal considering the device’s additional capabilities, features, and overall quality. I’m amazed. I have attached a photo for comparison. I may hang onto the MM+ for myself due to its high potential and extensive support/community, but I’m definitely going to gift the RG35XX Pro. With all of that said, I stand by my original 5/5 rating for the MM+; it truly is a budget-friendly, pocketable, ergonomic little handheld with a lot of potential. ORIGINAL: Wow! I haven’t been this excited to receive an order in a while. Bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband along with a SanDisk microSD and a new SD card reader as recommended by many online. Opened it up as soon as it arrived to check it out and make sure it was actually worth it. Boy, am I jealous! I absolutely love this thing. I do believe I got a little giddy upon opening it. Brought back so many memories; made me feel like a kid again. As some people have mentioned, it may be a tad awkward/uncomfortable to hold for long gaming sessions as an adult, but I imagine most people don’t use it for super long periods. This is one of those things you pick up randomly when you’re bored or before going to bed. It’s not something you’re gonna sit and play for hours on end. I bet it’s great for travel though; perfect size. Can’t speak on its battery life or durability considering it won’t be properly used until after Christmas, but man, I am super pleased with it out of the box! Gonna take some restraint not to give it to my husband early. I may actually eventually end up buying one for myself. The nostalgia is real, ya’ll. I ordered from Amazon in case I needed to return it. I paid a few dollars more, but I was a little worried about receiving a lemon or a completely unusable product. It was worth it to me for the promise of a free, easy return. However, this appears to be a “legit” Miyoo Mini Plus. Don’t hesitate to buy it if you’re at all interested. You won’t be disappointed! The Miyoo Mini Plus is an absolute masterpiece, 100/100! As a gaming enthusiast, this handheld has become my daily companion, delivering flawless performance and nostalgia in the palm of my hand. While the stock OS works fine, I highly recommend pairing it with a 256GB SanDisk/Samsung Extreme SD card and installing OnionOS—it transforms the device into a sleek, super customizable powerhouse with seamless access to literally thousands of classic games (anything from Atari 2600, DOS, Vectrex, NeoGeo, GBA, DS, and even PS1). The build quality is superb, it has a great battery life (I can play for over 6-8 hours no problem, depends on the games you play honestly), the screen is vibrant, and the portability is unmatched. i bought a sandisk ultra microSD separately and installed onion myself. the screen protector was relatively easy to apply. i can’t speak to how well the card reader and cable work because i used my own. the carrying case is pretty snug, and while i trust it to keep the MMP secure, the elastic band makes it a little tough to remove. the MMP itself is pretty great, although retroarch has a pretty steep learning curve when it comes to navigating menus, overrides, and controls. you have to rest the MMP delicately on its back if you have any hotkeys tied to the triggers, because it’s easy to press those buttons without trying to. i’m still getting used to it but i’m satisfied so far, especially with the onion interface. go with the cheaper option here and install that yourself—it’s easy enough ... show more

Tremendo equipito. Emula hasta ps1 sin problema. Recomiendo obviamente formatear poniendole ONION OS y el set de roms de "done set 3" que trae roms curados y pre configurados especialmente para este miyoo mini plus. Recomiendo tambien una micro sd de 128gb de buena calidad, la que trae es una batata. Ese done set 3 tiene una version para memorias de 128gb y de 256gb. La unica diferencia es la cantidad de juegos de PS1 que la verdad yo al menos no voy a usar tanto. Me encanta y se lo compraron varios amigos. Lo que si, hoy a octubre del 2025 me fue imposible jugar cooperativo con otros amigos con el mismo equipo y versión (que se los instalé yo tambien) no importa cuanto tutorial vea, el aparato crashea al intentar conectar. Lo unico malo es que no es tan potente ni tanta ram. Si les sobra la guita recomiendo estirarse a un anbernic que además traen análogo (aunque no probé ninguno) y que emulan hasta ps2. Pero para juegos un poco mas retro, la experiencia de materiales, cruceta, botones, pantalla, es excelente y por algo es la consola "haldheld" más vendida. ... show more
