GLASS IS THE IDEAL MATERIAL FOR BREWING TEA Glass teapot is the best way to brew tea without introducing heavy metals and other chemicals used in metallic varieties. The taste also remain true to the original flavor as acidic teas won't react with metals. BREW ON HEAT SETTING FROM 1/4 to 1/2 MARK he best way to brew a tea is to set the heat between 1/4 to 1/2 mark, not to bring the water to a violent and rapid boil. Although the teapot will handle high heat settings, it is recommended not to do so often to prevent formation of microcracks. Also never allow it to run out of water. That will contribute to micro crack formation. I've had glass teapots for years and they still look like new. VERSATILITY Besides tea you could also brew coffee, eliminating the need for a bulky coffee machine or toxic paper filters that waste resources and money as well as other hot and cold beverages. Those inset infusion filters that sit in the teapot do not rust and work for years. CLEANING Cleaning is a bit challenging due to the shape of the teapot. It is beautiful to look at but those corners might be difficult to clean. You need a dedicated brush that can go there to clean the stains around the corner. CUP SETS The cups are too small for most tea addicts, but they are the right size for those who don't want to drink a ton at a time. They are best for other uses in my view. Instead use a proper tea cup with saucers. ELECTRIC STOVETOPS AND HEAT DIFFUSERS If using electric stovetop use a heat diffuser so that the glass doesn't immediately sit on the surface. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YDF14QF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1 If you got burns under the teapot from the rust that comes from the diffusers, the way to clean it is to scrub vinegar and baking soda on top and use a toothbrush to scrub them off. Dry and clean the teapot after each use. The best way to prevent this is to prevent rust on your heat diffusers. As soon as you notice rust forming, sink the diffusers in vinegar, scrub it off and spray with oil and burn the oil off. It will redcoat and reseal the heat diffuser.

Update 04/05/23: When I washed the one teacup I had used, somehow some soap got between the 2 glasses. I don't know if the others are going to be like that. The thing is my teacup was not submerged in water. I was washing it by hand with a cloth, water and soap. Perhaps it's a design flaw or simply because of how cheap these were, but either way I hope the other glasses don't do this. Just something to be aware of. I am absolutely notorious for not paying attention to measurements, so when I received this product and saw that the teapot wasn't much bigger than a can of soda, I was slightly disappointed. I knew that the glasses were going to be small because I know how much 2 oz is. I wanted a clear coffee pot for bloom tea. I was actually very delighted with how my bloom tea turned out. I don't believe that this can be placed on a stove to boil water in it. I simply don't believe it would hold up to it. To me it feels like a plastic / glass combination. The teacups are very cute and very small. One of the better things about having a small teapot is that it will make the tea stronger. There are times when I feel that my tea is simply not as strong as I prefer and this will help me with that. I don't entertain people very much and this will help when I do have company although I may have to make more than one pot. Overall this is a very cute set and I'm definitely going to keep it for myself and for entertaining. I highly recommend this product.

I got this for my mother for Christmas. She loved it. After a few weeks there developed a crack in it. No one bumped or dropped it, it just cracked. Not built for heat or regular use so don't waste your money.
