  • Beautiful tall tulips in PNW
I have never planted tulips before and I have very little experience gardening. My moms backyard needed some TLC so we purchased a garden box and ordered these bulbs. If you're inexperienced like me, theres a ton of information about planting on youtube! When the bulbs first arrived, I kept the box in the fridge. They need to be chilled for several weeks to get the best results and to reduce risk of mold. When ground temperatures cooled off to ~40-50 degrees and are relatively dry still, I started getting the tools to plant. (This was about mid November since we had extended warmer temperatures last year in PNW). You don't want to plant during a week with lots of rain because I learned that the bulbs can rot. Also choose a spot that gets a lot of sunshine. I dug about 6 inches deep and placed the bulbs facing pointed tip up in rows of alternating 5 and 4 bulbs with 1.5 inch separation. I wanted a "full" look. Then covered with some fertilizer, fresh bags of soil from home depot and then a layer of mulch and patted that all down. I don't need to worry about animals digging them up and eating them here so I didn't cover them with chicken wire but I have heard that is technique others use. Overall I am thrilled with these results and will repurchase from this brand in the future!! Only a few bulbs had to be thrown out ~5-8 in total. I cannot recommend these bulbs enough. Best of luck to all your gardeners out there! ... show more

  • Beautiful colors
I planted these around my birds grave and I didn’t get a picture of all of them, but a good portion did come up and the colors were what I expected.

  • Good Quality
Came in an appropriately marked box. Only one or two shriveled bulbs but the rest looked great, nice and healthy

  • Planted, Forgot, Rewarded Anyway
Grabbed these bulbs in October as a small project, stuck them in the ground, and pretty much forgot about them. Didn’t check, didn’t hover—just let nature do its thing. Six months later, they popped up out of nowhere. Simple, low-effort win. Reminded me that not everything needs constant attention—some stuff just works if you give it time. I’ll definitely be planting more next winter. Quiet payoff. Feels good. btw they all pretty much popped in the pattern i planted, no obvious "duds". ... show more

  • mold and bugs but sprouting
Right now I'm only giving a 3. I ordered two 50 count bags. One of the bags only had 6 that I had to toss due to mold, the other bag I had to toss over a dozen bulbs because of mold and mushiness. I had to give all of the good bulbs a hefty rinse as well because there were a ton of aphids! You may wonder why I'm still giving 3 stars when I received some moldy ones and a ton of bugs? They're still getting 3 stars because the "good" bulbs almost all came already sprouting so they are ready to plant right away. ... show more

  • Great bulbs! Would buy again.
Doesn't get any easier then this. Plant them in fall and wait for them to flower in the following spring. I did nothing other than put them in the dirt making sure to place the bulb root side down. Edit: I thought they were all going to turn out red, however they bloomed and there are pink ones, red ones, and yellow/red ones! Will be buying again this fall to plant more! ... show more
