I was amazed at the size of the salad/desert plates and bowls, much bigger than the other melamine set I had previously! The plates all have a depth that would help with anything slipping off the plate, they are almost like a bowl! I like the edge design simple and fits with my traditional theme for the kitchen. The bowls are bigger than a normal cereal bowl with nice high sides. They would be perfect for soup and stew meals, and a nice good sized bowl of ice cream, pudding, or cobbler with ice cream! I purchased 3 sets of these and have them for a while now. There is a greasy film, especially the buttom, that I thought would wash off after a while. But it’s has not. I can’t return them given time and use. But I would love to hear from the seller to see how the grease can come off.
