Best gel out there for my hair! I have 2c/3a mix that is very thin after weigh loss and peri menopause. I’ve tried several gel curl products, Kinky Curly Curl Custard Gel, Eco Olive Oil, and Mielle comes to mind. But the one thing I really appreciate about Miss Jessie’s Jelly Soft Curls is how well it layers with my other CGM ( Curly Girl Method) products. It almost feels designed specifically for layering. I also use a leave in and mousse in my routine, and with many products, that combination can leave my hair super crunchy and cast heavy but with Jelly Soft Curls , curls stay lightweight and flexible while still giving definition and hold. My curls still had movement and softness, but looked much more controlled and defined. I’ll only used it twice, so I’m still sort of trialing it. works great on curly hair. Does control frizz, is not runny, and locks in moisture. Don't use too much or you will have crunchy curls and who wants that. This is probably my 10th purchase of this item. Will continue to buy.

This review is for delivery. Package arrived late and they did not secure top onto the container and therefore the product had spilled all over the inside of the package. Not sure how much was lost. It’s was a huge mess. Very disappointed! The product itself is fantastic. I find that mixing it with Miss Jessie’s multicultural curls provides the best results for my curls. This item needs more than 5 stars. It deserves every single award for hair care and softness and keeping my curls. Thank you Miss Jessie I shall be buying more of this product and the rest of the line just because it is simple the best. I am not a big fan of twisting my hair after every wash, sometimes I like the natural form of the curls (majority of times), so I went through all the reviews and happened to read a lot on this item so I decided to give it a try. My hair type is 3B and I am a mixed Caribbean woman so all that beautiful cohesion is also represented in my hair. Now with all that kink there are very few products that actually works in holding the curls whether twisted or not. After the first use of this item just rubbing a small amount on half wet hair the results are amazing. The curls started forming immediately and I fell asleep on them :( when I woke up to think I will be seeing a big poof as I probably should I woke to amazing curls, already formed and in place and all i had to do was push the strays in place. Not only that, my hair is so soft. Now the true test lies in the overnight process, again without wrapping my hair etc I slept with my hair down. When I woke my curls are still there (a bit crushed of course) however after re-applying a small amount and rubbing in my hair the curls seem rejuvenated and back to life. My hair is literally curls goddess right now. I keep getting so much compliments I think I have to share this secret with them :). Again thank you Miss Jessie, thank you for understanding a mix woman hair and curls, I cant wait to use the other products in your line. ... show more
